Gaudi’s Gift to Barcelona is a Must See!
Guill Park is an incredible experience. There is absolutely no wonder that this is a UNESCO World Heritage Site—it if jaw-dropping at every turn, from its massive sculptures to its delicate mosaics, all different. A visit here will really underscore the creative genius of Gaudi. This site is an absolute marvel abd it is a gift not only to Barcelona, but to the world. Don’t miss it! Our knowledgeable guide, Anthony, enhanced my experience by providing knowledge, context, and a local perspective.

Fantastic full day trip - 3 cities in 1
Our guides Jordi and Roger were so funny and knowledgeable of the areas we visited. Montserrat had stunning mountain views and you can see the fog in the distance creating beautiful panoramic vistas. Girona is a wonderful, medieval town and it was like stepping back in time walking through the cobblestone streets. We love Game of Thrones and it was so cool to see the places where a few of the scenes were filmed including the 99 steps and the Arab baths. My personal favorite of the three was Costa Brava. It was the perfect place to end the day because of the peaceful sea views and relaxing atmosphere. The shopping in this area is affordable, high quality and a lot of incredibly cute stuff! I can’t wait to come back here for some beach time. Overall, the tour was about 12 hours including the driving in between locations and our guides kept our whole group of about 40 punctual but at the same time not too rushed. We had plenty of free time in Girona to have some lunch and sightsee. Lastly, the crowds in all three locations were very light and we did not feel too overwhelmed with people. I would highly recommend this tour if you are looking to see a lot in one day and you are staying in Barcelona and don’t want to rent a car.

Very glad we decided to book
I booked this tour as the tours on the official Sagrada Família website were all sold out for the date I wanted. I’m actually pleased as this tour was excellent! We had Sergio who gave us such a great, informative tour and it was more personal than just listening to a pre-recorded audio guide. I loved the fun and interesting facts about Gaudi and the building.

Golden Hour Tour of Sagrada Família
Even though I knew I had to book Sagrada Família tickets ahead of time, I still missed the window and 2 weeks before our trip the official website was sold out. It ended up being a happy accident because the only way I could go is booking through Viator. I don't think I would have enjoyed the visit as much without a tour guide. Jorge was a fantastic guide. The tour was engaging and informative but also not too long. I had my teenage daughter with me and the tour kept her very engaged. You can also stay inside as long as you want after the tour. This was the "Golden Hour" tour to highlight the beautiful light through the stainless windows. It really is a special time to come. The original tour was booked for 4pm but since the sun sets quite late in April Jorge reached out to let us know that the tour was moved to 5:20. That is not the kind of flexibility you would get if you booked your own timed ticket through the official website.
