Matthew was extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and showed us an amazing experience on our hike to see the Matterhorn!! He was even willing to stop for an impromptu lunch at Zum See, a restaurant in a little village on the way down the mountain. It was truly a perfect day and we highly recommend asking for Matthew!

Our guided hike with Matthew was an unforgettable experience! He led us on a beautiful trail that passed through two charming mountain villages—something we never would have discovered on our own. Along the way, he shared fascinating insights about the area’s history and nature, all while being kind, funny, and incredibly easy to talk to. Matthew also gave us detailed instructions for a hike we wanted to do the next day, plus helpful recommendations for the rest of our trip. He truly listened to what we were looking for and delivered exactly that. My family and I highly recommend booking an outdoor experience with him!

Simon and Carey took us on an awesome hike they called the “5 lakes hike”. They chose our route based on our hiking experience. The swim in the lake was fun. They were very attentive, and offered great advice for the rest of our trip.

What an amazing day hiking through the mountains surrounding Zermatt with our knowledgeable and friendly guide Matthew! We hiked up to Edelweiss cabin/hotel for some drinks and snacks with a superb view of Zermatt and the surrounding areas. Then we hiked across the mountain and through amazing scenic vistas and historical small hamlets along the mountains. Matthew kept it interesting and we were able to stop and go at our comfort level. He never made us feel rushed and took extra time to make sure we were enjoying our hike. Be sure to bring good comfortable shoes and water/drinks with you. Hiking poles would also be helpful but we did not have any with us. Thank you again Matthew for an unforgettable experience! We never would have climbed as high or traveled as far without you as our guide!
