This is a great experience - spectacular views of the Matterhorn and neighboring peaks and glaciers all along the way. There is a short walk to the cable cars and then two cable car rides to reach the Matterhorn Glacial Paradise. Great views from up here as well as ice caves to explore. Remember to bring warm clothing! Salma our guide made the experience very interesting by telling us the history of the Zermatt town and surroundings.

The tour was highly informative from a historical point of view, not just the amazing views of the Alps. Victoria, our guide, was a savior as I surprisingly had severe altitude sickness. He knew what to do and after normalizing things, got me on my way down.

The guide canceled the time (after I arrived at the designated spot) from 12:30 to 1:50. Then after I showed up at the designated spot I couldn’t find him. Texted him he told me by the cabs. Still couldn’t find him. Asked if he had a sign or something to identify himself but he didn’t answer me. Kept texting him to no avail. I stayed there at the zermatt train station for over an hour texting and looking for him. Finally left and am asking for my money back. I was looking forward to this tour and was greatly disappointed. I have been on many tours and have never had this problem before. I appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you.

We’re sorry this happened — the guide was en route to Zermatt with other clients when their train was delayed due to technical issues. Despite this, our operational team did their best to stay in contact and advise you the best way possible given the distance and constraints. The guide arrived and asked around at the designated meeting point, where other participants were successfully located and the tour began. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially if messages didn’t connect as they should have. We acknowledge that identifying a guide in a busy station can be challenging, and we are actively improving guide visibility and clearer meeting-point signage to avoid situations like this in the future. No One Showed Up

Booked a tour and no one showed up. There was no communication or explanation, and it ended up being a complete waste of time. I did receive a refund without any issues, which I appreciate. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but sharing this so others can be aware and be cautious. Would not recommend.

Leighton was an amazing guide, going out of his way to make sure the day ran smoothly. He is a fountain of knowledge and made sure everyone was well taken care of, even the Celuac traveling with us. However, Viator switched our trip to a small group without telling us or mentioning a change in pickup location. Luckily the tour company was on top of it and everything worked out perfectly!
