Not much to it….we...

Ron_K, Oct 2025
Not much to it….we thought we would see more…could not understand the boat captain at all …no waters throughout the experience even though stated water would be supplied…

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Hello Ron, Thank you for sharing your feedback. The tour followed the exact itinerary described, and we’re sorry if some parts did not meet your expectations. If there were any difficulties understanding the captain, our team would have been happy to assist if informed. Bottled water was available in the car throughout the tour, and guests may always ask the driver for it. We appreciate your comments and hope your next experience will be even better. Best regards,

Absolutely Amazing

This was one of the highlights of our holiday. George our driver was lovely and friendly. Would 100% recommend this trip.

Best driver and best playlist

Giulia_R, Aug 2025
Great tour, very well organised and beautiful waters. We had the best guide, he was so welcoming, had the best playlist and a few unexpected surprises! We felt really take care of throughout the day.

Not a lot of turtle-spotting…

Lorna_S, Jul 2025
The turtle-spotting experience involved a fleet of boats circling one poor turtle. Had we known, we wouldn’t have gone because it was incredibly depressing to be a part of…particularly after our guide had told us that tourism was basically decimating the turtle population. And getting onto the boat was also pretty chaotic and crowded. Basically, expect the most touristy of experiences. The caves were lovely - and the best part was jumping into the water to swim for 20 minutes. Finally, the olive oil museum is very quick - a nice girl pointing at machinery in one room of a factory. Then a few bowls of (very nice) olive oil… and off we went again. It was a bit of a let down as a day - and I’d definitely think twice about doing a tour like this again if it meant hounding some poor animal. Bit of a shame.

Amazing blue waters!!

Julia_W, Jul 2025
We had a wonderful trip, our guide George was very friendly and lively! The boat trip was just stunning and the swim stop near keri caves was absolutely beautiful with crystal clear waters. Camino island was also lovely and finished off with a trip to an olive oil factory to taste the oils. A lovely half day trip, which gave us time for other things in the afternoon.

Amazing tour, Marathonisi a must see and swim

dinag1966, Jul 2025
We loved this tour. Visited the Cameo Island, the Kerri caves were amazing. Marathonisi island was lovely to visit and swim, there were boats with food and drinks to purchase if needed. In total we had two swim stops. We also stopped to view some turtles at the start of the boat tour. Highly recommend this tour if you visit Zakynthos.

Wonderful beautiful Zakynthos

Jessica_V, Oct 2024
An amazing experience. Zante is beautiful and this was a wonderful way to see it. We both had a wonderful time and would recommend it!

Amazing day

Natalie_V, Oct 2024
What an amazing day. Great transfers. I reccomend.verry kind and nice guides and captain. Didnt expect much but i loved it

Not worth the money

Edina_V, Sep 2024
Cameo island was nice but packed, didn't really have any time or space for anything. Marathonisi wasn't great at all, and our boat back was late to pick us up too. We hardly saw anything of the caves, we went turtle spotting instead. The olive press visit was very quick and rushed.

Awesome

Alexandra_F, Sep 2024
The staff was amazing from start to finish!! Pickup from port. They made it perfect Highly recommend!!

Great time had by all

Ruthie, Sep 2024
Very well organised and really enjoyed the trip. Lovely tour guide George who really looked after us

Overall okay

Martijn_D, Sep 2024
Cameo Island was not really worth it. Keri Caves where nice with the coastline. We haven't seen any turtles at Marathonisi. Overall okay.

Response from Host, Sep 2024

Dear Martijn, Thank you for your feedback. We do our best daily to show you and all our customers the beauties of our island, but there are some things that we can not control, the number of turtles we see on a tour is one of them. Thank you for your understanding. Kind regards, Dali Tours

Beautiful caves!

Barbara_M, Aug 2024
Because the driver did not speak English well, there were some misunderstandings with other members of the group. We were just thrilled with all the caves he took us to. He skillfully took us deep into caves. Our cruise tender was delayed, but they waited until we arrived to leave.

Lovely trip 🏝️🐢🥰

Justyna_C, Jul 2024
Well organised, good experience with beautiful views , lucky to see turtles 🐢🏝️ definitely recommend

Give it a miss

Bernice_B, Jun 2024
Nothing about this trip was pleasant. We were kept waiting right from the start. The bus was inadequately air conditioned and really uncomfortable. There are no bathrooms anywhere until the very end at the olive museum, so you either swim in really cold water or suffer for 5 hours. The boat was packed with 23 of us, no water was available on the boat at all in spite of them advertising water included. The Turtle beach is very limited in space and has vendors with drinks and icecream, but no bathroom facilities. We then arrived back and again waited for ever in a stuffy packed bus before getting to the olive museum. All in all best avoided, Zakynthos is run down and plain shabby.

Amazing Zakynthos

Jose_M, Jun 2024
The boat tour and swimming in the caves! The tour started late because of some passengers but the owner personally made sure that we didn't miss anything! Giani our boat captain was amazing!

Overall a good experience.

Samantha_S, May 2024
The experience was amazing! Unfortunately we didn’t have the best weather. Our original tour got postponed and they offered to pick us up despite us being outside the drive area since there was a change in date. We also spent some time waiting for people that never showed and our tour ended up being a little behind schedule so we had to rush through Cameo Island. The driver and tour guide were very nice. Our captain of the boat tried so hard to get us to see a turtle and even spent a little extra time on the way back to try and spot one.

Response from Host, May 2024

Dear Samantha, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Unfortunately, we had to wait for some other guests who didn't show up, but please note that if that was you, we would have done the same thing. We don't want to leave anyone behind. Although we had to reschedule the tour, because of bad weather conditions, we tried our best and went the extra mile to ensure that our guests had a great time on our tour. Kind regards, Dali Tours

Good but could be better!

Sarah_B, Nov 2023
This was generally a good trip although I would say that it could be made much better with a few changes. Firstly, the first stop is pointless at the end of season, it's just a long stretch of abandoned beach. Secondly, whilst I appreciate that the crew of the boat made an effort to spot turtles, since they do tend to leave in September, trying to find them at the end of October is, again, a bit pointless. Thirdly, when we went to the caves and the boat stopped to let people get off and swim through the arch to the beach, it would be much, much safer if they actually stopped and checked people can swim well as the current is quite strong and my daughter really struggled. There was also no offer of any swim aids, life jackets etc which is not good from a safety point of view. The stop at the next beach was lovely and the visit to the olive oil factory was amazing! Overall, I can see that this is probably a much better trip in season, the guys running the trip were very pleasant but a lot more needs to be done from a safety point of view. So, yes, I would recommend it with the above reservations.

Fantastic, shame about the delay.

Elisabeth_K, Oct 2023
Fantastic trip, lovely, enthusiastic staff and the scenery on the tour was just beautiful. Would have easily been 5* but we were picked up from the port and taken to sit in a cafe for a couple of hours, I've no idea why this was but as it was booked as a half day tour there was no lunch included and we didn't take any food with us, with the delay we ended up getting back to the port at the same time as the people on the full day tour, the only difference was we were absolutely starving and they weren't, as food was included on the full day tour. A real shame as had we been picked up and taken straight on the tour there would have been absolutely nothing negative to write about. Also had we been told timescales we could have explored the local area, a bit of souvenir shopping, something to eat but we were just left sat there with no communication and no timings.

The description is a lie

Shannon_B, Oct 2023
Huge misrepresentation in the description. So, we arrived on time from a cruise ship. The tour then proceeded to wait for a bunch of people who were late from the cruise ship. I appreciate the waiting for some unforeseen issues, however, it waited over an hour. So we sat around and did literally nothing waiting for people who couldn’t be bothered to be on time. The tour needs to have a cut off where if you aren’t there, it leaves without you. That hour actually stole part of our tour because from then on, they were definitely rushing and we missed a lot of what was said. Or at least I hope that was the reason and not that they just blatantly lied about what this includes. It says in the description, national marine park and beach walk. Nope. Not a second was spent there. No swim stop. No people telling us about the turtles. Then it says go to the glass bottom boat, that we did do. Drove out to the Keri caves. Also no swim stop around the Keri caves as it says. Drove into one, under an arch, quickly sped by marathonisi island and then they plop you on the beach for one hour. It says it is optional to swim, but it doesn’t state that you absolutely have to get out of the boat and you will get wet and that they leave you there for an hour. We then had to wait for some more people who decided to walk to the other side of the island and so that stole more time from us. Then we went back to the port… there was no spot for the boat to dock, so he went out chasing down poor turtles with like 6 other boats. It was honestly disgusting. I felt so ashamed to be there. Like vultures. And then we docked and they drove us to the olive press where they tell you 2 minutes of information, have a bin of bread and some oils out for you to try, with no info really. And then they try to sell it to you. Then they drive you to a restaurant where you can choose to buy lunch. And then that’s the day. Worst tour I’ve been on.

Response from Host, Oct 2023

Dear Shannon, Thank you for sharing your experience with us, even though we think you were very harsh. Let us start by explaining to you first that in the email that we sent to you about your pickup conditions, we mention in red, that we can adjust the itinerary IF and WHEN needed. You have confirmed reading and understanding the content of the email. We assume, that arriving on the board of the cruise ship yourself, you surely know, that they always tender first the people who are signed up for their organized tours, that they have booked on the cruise ship. You have been lucky to be out with one of the first tenders. We know it can be frustrating to wait for other people, but if you had been the one stuck on the ship, we would have waited for you too. We wait as long as we can when tendering goes slow, so everyone can join the tour and have a great time. Yes, we were a little bit late, so the tour guide decided to skip the first stop, so he wouldn't have to rush the rest of the tour. About the boat tour, please understand that yes, it could happen that you are going to be a little wet along the way, or when we get off the boat at Marathonisi island... but being a boat tour this is logical and understandable I think, given that we have swim stops too. Lastly, about turtle spotting: we go out on a boat to look for turtles and the captain is doing his best, but you must consider that you will not be the only ones wanting to see them. The island has thousands of visitors, and although is not the best way, surrounded by a few other boats too, this is the only way to be able to see them when on a tour. At the Olive Press Museum, they explain a few things first, and then they have the video playing also telling and illustrating the procedure from harvesting the olives till it's pure oil form, which you are also able to taste aside with olives and fresh village bread. We understand that your main issue was that you had to wait for other people, so we would be more than happy to take you on a private tour next time around:) Have a great day! Kind regards, Dali Tours

Beautiful !!

Lisa_M, Oct 2023
Going into the caves was awesome! The waters were absolutely beautiful. And our guide Christos was wonderful.!

An interesting an amazing adventure.

Jenifer_O, Oct 2023
The boat ride to turtle island and to see the caves was amazing. I enjoyed swimming at both locations. The beach and the Mediterranean is so beautiful. We were very crowded on our boat but we managed to enjoy everything. I was concerned about the turtles. I’m was nice to see how much the people of this area care about their survival.

Amazing excursion

Rose_C, Sep 2023
We were a little late arriving due to tenders from the cruise but our contact was wonderful and told us they would wait. We had a wonderful driver very entertaining and passionate about his culture and island. The turtles and swimming in the sea was amazing. The olive oil factory was a nice end to the excursion.

Not worth it

luis_l, Sep 2023
I wouldn’t recommend this tour. I am sure there are others where you can do the same and its proper organized. The pick up driver didn’t speak english, which is not an issue if there are not delays. We had to wait and didn’t know what was happening. We saw the turtles for 1 minute. They left us in the turtle island which is packed with people and you can barely find a spot to put your towel. So oapart from not being organized and have the feeling you are treated as cattle it was quite expensive, around 60€ per person.

Not good

Anna_W, Aug 2023
I booked this tour because it was stated 12 people I don’t like being around a lot of people and there was 22 people on our boat and it was very cramped wasn’t offered a life jacket which I thought was bad also the boat driver let a passenger drive the boat some off the way back which I didn’t like

half day trip Zakynthos South

Louis_B, Aug 2023
The trip was very good in general. The boat trip should have also included Mizithres and should have been longer, visiting more places around there. The 50 min stop on the beach on the Turtle Island could have been skipped, because too crowded and beach was not beautiful. Instead we could have stopped for bathing at the caves at Turtle Island, as some other ships did. In general it would be perfect to have a full day trip adapted to the cruise timing including the best places of the North of Zakynthos like shipwreck beach, Blue caves and a nice beach there, which we wished to see, too, but there was no fitting offer for it.

Great tour, more time on beach would have been nice

Steve_D, Aug 2023
Tour was beautiful and driver was very pleasant. I would have preferred more time at the beach however. My husband and I are not swimmers and it was very hot on the boat. We only had about 20 mins on the beach.

Brilliant half day trip

Andrew_M, Aug 2023
A great tour for a half day. Good price too! Highlights was swimming in the caves. Spent most of the time out on the water

Should try if go to zante

Oanh_L, Aug 2023
Nice experience. However the last place to swim in 1 hour is not as beautiful as other place you took me.

Exhilarating experience!!

Jocelyn_G, Aug 2023
The visit to the beach where loggerhead turtles laid eggs and hatched; I appreciated the fact that the turtles and their habitat were protected. The boat ride to watch turtles come up for air; the boat ride to the caves, the short stay at the beach to take a dip into the ocean...then a visit to the Aristeon Olive Oil Press--it was all new and exhilarating experiences!! The van driver/tour guide, the boat captain and Isabel, the tour guide, were very good. An investment in a microphone in the boat could enhance the experience of the tourists. It was a very hot day and the air conditioning in the van could have been better. Thank you!!
