This was the perfect tour to start our trip to Croatia. Mario was so knowledgeable not only about Zagreb but also Croatia's history. We has a great time exploring the city with him. Highly recommend this private tour!

This was a terrific walking tour of Zagreb. Marko was a wonderful tour guide who brought deep knowledge about Zagreb. He was also very professional and accommodating. Showed us many historical sites. Highly recommend!!

We had a very enjoyable walking tour around Zagreb’s Old Town with Marko, who has lived in the city all of his life and is extremely knowledgeable about its history and mysteries, and is happy to share his knowledge with you. It was a private tour, so there were just the two of us, and so we could set the pace which was nice. Streets, buildings, statues, myths, … Marko knows it all, and his English is excellent! We highly recommend Marko and his tour.

We often book walking tours and we highly recommend this one. Marko is dynamic, knowledgeable, respectful and friendly.
Our family got to know the history of the Greb and the background of the mediaval towns. Marko avoided crowds and made sure we were in the shades.

Zagreb was an amazing city and we enjoyed our time there more because of this tour. Our guide Marko was excellent. He was very kind, patient and considerate. He really let our group dictate the pace and focused on what we were interested in. He had great facts about the city and explained everything. It was a hot day, he was checking and finding shady areas for us to stand in while he explained everything we were seeing. He answered all of our questions and gave wonderful recommendations. Overall, it was well worth the cost to book a private tour. We saw a lot in the 2+ hours and left understanding more about the city and its people. The day before the organizer sent me a message that had directions, reminders and even a picture of our tour guide. This was excellent communication and made me feel comfortable knowing we would have a seemless experience.

We had such a good and interesting time with Marko! We walked all around Zagreb, and Marko had all sorts of interesting historical info and stories about the many stops we made. It was a very, very enjoyable tour!

Mario was an excellent guide on this tour and was very knowledgeable on the whole history of all of Zagreb getting us up to Gradec in time to see the cannonball firing. Explained every detail of where we were and how the whole city developed

My husband and I did a two hour private walking tour with Mario. He was outstanding! If I could give him 6 stars I would have. We began our afternoon with only a very basic understanding of Croatian history, but in our time with Mario he was able to boil down centuries of history into meaningful bites that we could then feel and see as we walked through the heart of Zagreb. He shared many interesting stories about the old and new history, culture, and traditions of the area. Mario’s English was impeccable too. The city is beautiful and full of gems to learn about. It was a fun and very enjoyable experience. I’d highly recommend visiting Zagreb and make sure to do it with Mario. It’ll be a highlight of your trip!

Bernanda is a great tourist guide, she speaks English and Spanish and gave us the tour in our preferred language (Spanish). She explained very well the history of Zagreb and took us to see the most important highlights of the city. We highly recommend this tour and Bernanda.

I was nervous to do a private tour, but I’m really glad that I did. My guide Marko was amazing. He made the tour very fun and made my day. Highly recommend him for any other solo travelers who are staying in Zagreb. One thing that I did regret was doing this tour during Easter because everything was closed. Otherwise, very fun!

We had a fantastic time. Aleksandar was knowledgeable about every aspect of the city; its history, culture and nuances as we walked around. He answered all our questions in depth and even found the best spot to see the cannon firing at 12!

Aleksandar was a phenomenal guide. This tour feels very personal and he does a great job of explaining the history of the city by using visual methods such as slides, going to the places, and letting you try the local food and drink. He showed me places of Zagreb I never heard of. I highly recommend his services.
