It was a pleasant trip to do on a summer evening but on reflection a day cruise with commentary would have been more informative about this fascinating city. The strawberries were tasty and prosecco a good match.

£52 pound and 1 hour I'm never getting back
No commentary nothing to see but green trees and river banks don't waist you money
Strawberrys nice but would have been free with a Tesco meal deal

Honestly thought that this would be a cute end to mine and my partners date night, getting to see the gorgeous views of the city but I was sadly disappointed. There really wasn't much to see what so ever. Was expecting to at least see some christmas lights on either side of the river bed, but not even the houses we went by really had any. What made the experience worse was the drunk older gentleman bothering anyone and everyone he could. Really was not worth the money and was definitely a disappointing ending to the night. Staff was polite though at least.

It's a complete waste of time and money. There isn't much to see along the river Ouse. Worse when the boat literally goes up and down the same stretch of river repeatedly. Instead of recorded commentary they play music; must be because there isn't too much to say about the sights along the Ouse.

The hot chocolate was sooo good. Crew was very nice, I enjoyed that our boat wasn’t busy. We sat outside which I recommend. I think I would’ve preferred the 6pm but still wonderful!

Not what we were expecting,
Would say a waste of time and money. Hardly anything to see along on the way. Just trees and people walking by.
The boat just goes 15 minutes one way then the other way and back to the start.
Best part was waving to people walking past 😂

Not what I was expecting not much to actually look at along the way… lots of people sat on the bank drinking fires going but no architecture … best bit was near the end one of the bridges lite up as approaching

Lovely relaxed end to an evening in York. Very nice staff. Glass of prosecco included was a nice touch.

This was a lovely way to spend a couple
of hours (sailing time is about 70 mins) we were greeted by a very friendly young lady and we directed below deck for a complimentary glass of Prosecco (soft/hot drinks are available as an alternative). There was soft music playing and the skipper asked if the level of the music was ok, there was a safety briefing and then we were off. The Ouse is stunning at night with the lights of the bridges. We even saw a fox on the waterside. It was incredibly relaxing and just a wonderful escape. All staff were amazing and I would highly recommend this as an activity. We are going to do some more of their cruises with our children.

We went on the evening cruise and it was lovely. The crew were very friendly. We had a glass of prosecco on arrival. People were waving as we sailed by it was great. But do wrap up as it was extremely cold on the top deck.

I would have rated this trip 5 stars but unfortunately due to the time we booked 9:15pm it was very dark and you couldn’t see anything other than trees. Which was a shame. This is totally on me and not the fault of the team. I would recommend that you check what time the sunsets and book a cruise before dark as I would imagine the sunset cruise will be magnificent. The cruise included a glass of Prosecco which was a lovely touch. The cruise bar was open during the cruise. The only part of the experience that could have been better is there was not commentary/ history or fun facts shared during the cruise. The did play music which went some way to create a nice atmosphere/ experience. I would have enjoyed it more with commentary.

It was suppose to be a cruise in York. We got to see the woods of York… basically no city tour on the boat.

Nice warm evening, drinks available on board. Cruise not as expected, no view apart from the grassy riverbank & bushes. There was no commentary which was a surprise.

Whilst the trip was still in dusk light we expected that due to it being summer so getting dark later. The trip was so peaceful and relaxing. It was nice.to not have commentary, to see loads.of wildlife (two foxes, birds, Canadian geese and four swans) and to enjoy the peaceful smooth ride. Staff are very helpful as well

We felt very welcome right from the beginning. Easy to talk to and felt we could ask for anything and it would not be much trouble.

Was a beautiful cruise in the dark along the river. We got lucky and saw some ducks, ducklings and an owl! This is more about a nice relaxing cruise, not a lot of sights to see.

It was lovely to wind down at the end of the day after travelling down to York and having tea. Would definitely recommend if you just want to relax after a busy day.

Was a lovely and peaceful experience. There wasn't lots to see as the boat didn't cruise through the centre of York to be able to view the streets. However, it was a relaxing experience and something different to do to get away from the business of the town centre.
