Absolutely amazing experience. The dunes' beauty are indescribable. What made the experience even better was it driver Andries, who was an amazing guide. And the lunch spread was the best I've ever had on any tour or similar excursions. 110% recommend

It was extreme experience and great fun. Our guide, Obie(?), was an one of the best driver and had a knowledge of sand dune. We experience two flat tyres and one rescue another vehicle. But came back safely on time. Highly recommend. 🤣

Dunes and Wildlife by the Ocean

This was an exhilarating experience nearly unequal to any others. The ability to see the Namib desert connecting with the ocean would have been enough. But, driving through the dune system up and down and side to side, or climbing a dune of that size, that was unexpected. Our super expert driver Ivan made the whole thing even more spectacular. And the icing on the cake was a picnic in the desert and encountering jackals, ostrich, and seeing flamingos and seals in the wild. Beyond awesome. The tour company deserves lots of praise for organizing things so well and for waiting (for me) longer than anticipated.

The company is super disorganised but a great experience

They convinced us to do the afternoon over the morning session which we accepted. We came 15 minutes earlier but they were not organised. We didn’t leave for almost 40 minutes after the scheduled 1 pm departure. Absolute chaos. Our driver was OK, kinda racist when he mentioned Namibian politics. Sandwich harbour was stunning and I recommend it BUT not with this company.

As you are aware that your tour was on the last day of the year and the Walvis Bay Waterfront was the hive of activities, which is a tourist attraction area. Hence, the traffic congestion that we experience that day was beyond our control as the area has one entrance, causing a delay for our vehicles coming in to pick you up. Your comments regarding our driver's behavior are concerning, and we want to assure you that we do not condone any form of disrespect or inappropriate remarks. We will be addressing this issue internally to ensure it does not happen again. On a positive note, we are delighted that you enjoyed the stunning beauty of Sandwich Harbour. We acknowledge that the overall experience was marred by the issues you encountered, and we are committed to taking corrective measures to enhance our services. we appreciate your honesty and hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust in the future.

Initial let down, then wonderful scenery

Difficult to write this review. This company ‘forgot’ about me and actually the tour was cancelled, but managed to quickly get me onto a different tour group which was amazing.

You where not forgotten, our tour got cancelled due to the fact that our minimum pax to go on tour is 2 persons and it happened that you where the only one for that day. We had to organize that you join a group that was going out that morning.
