It was perfect number of vineyards and tasting from small to mid to large size vineyards.
One recommendation would be that based on the time of your tour start suggest at that time what time the ferry from Auckland they should take.

We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tour on Waiheke Island with the tour company Kiwi Connect. Our tour guide Adriani was awesome, she was very attentive and provided a wealth of information about the wineries and the island. She also provided us with great choices of restaurants to choose from after the tour. I would highly recommend Kiwi Connect for island tours.

First, Waiheke is stunning. Don’t miss it on your visit to Auckland. And if you go, you’ll want to taste some wine. This tour is a great way to do it. No huge bus lumbering around the winding roads. Just a few fellow travelers and Suzanne, your lovely guide. She’ll tell you all about the island’s history, both wine and non-wine. By the end, you’ll be giving her a hug. We enjoyed numerous tastings and a super lunch (not included) overlooking the water.

Not only was our guide, Susan, a friendly, welcoming person, she was also very knowledgeable about wines, area wineries and the island in general. Communication was clear and she was prompt. We really enjoyed the three wineries we visited, all a bit different. And as an added treat she showed us a few of her favorite sites, a glimpse into life on the very beautiful island. The small size of our group allowed for personal attention and it made our day very special.

Suzanne met us at the ferry. She was knowledge about the island and knew the winery staff…. It was a seamless experience and great wine. Even though our suitcases were full (and I had bought an extra) we still bought some wine. Very small group and very personalized.

Graeme and the team from Kiwi Connect provided an absolutely wonderful experience, touring Waiheke Island and visiting some of the wonderful wineries located on the island. From helping with the process and timing of ferries from Auckland, to scheduling the winery visits, to even providing a lunch reservation at one of our stops, all was managed perfectly. The tour and Graeme’s knowledge of the island and history was excellent, and the three wineries were each unique. The setting was marvelous for each, and the lunch was brilliant. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable day on Waiheke, one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Australia and New Zealand!!

The tour with Susan was very nice and enjoyable. She know a lot about Waiheke Island. We booked very spontaneously the evening before so we were only my girlfriend and me. We had a lot of time at and between the tastings and Susan showed us a lot nices places on the island. We definitly wuld recommend the tour!

It was a fantastic experience! It was raining all day, but it didn’t ruin our day at all. Exactly the opposite. It made it much cozier. We visited 3 wineries. Mudbrick was definitely our favorite. We had lunch at one of the stops where the brilliant food is coupled with a gorgeous view from the top of the island. Graham took us to some very beautiful places. Moreover, he is an exceptional guide and amazing person. It was great to have him with us.

Absolutely amazing experience with JoJo! You have a private bus and driver that takes you around to various iconic spots on the island plus 3 amazing wineries. The tastings are pre-booked for you, and you have time to stop for an amazing lunch at one of them. JoJo was very knowledgeable and friendly, as were all of the winery staff. This is something we will do again and again!
