Fabulous wine tour from downtown Vancouver into Fraser Valley. Tim, our guide and driver was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable of Vancouver and Fraser Valley. We had a terrific time! A great way to spend the day, enjoying wines and learning about all things Canada!

THANK YOU NORM!! My friends and I had a wonderful afternoon wine tasting at the BackYard, 7 Township and Gate 22. Gate 22 was our absolute favorite. Norm offered music, shared Vancouver facts and managed our time exceptionally well. He was super inviting. The light lunch was an added bonus and the wines were great at all three. Although the ladies Gate 22 and the winery itself was my favorite, we also enjoyed Jack at 7 Township. The reds and roses were the best. I’d recommend the Manifest wine at Gate 22.

We had a terrific afternoon touring the three vineyards. All wines were enjoyable and the hosts made us very welcome. Our driver/tour guide, Tim, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommended.

Great tour - but an opportunity missed

A lovely and relaxing way to spend a day- some very nice and unusual varietals. One thing that would add to the tour was if the tour guide had a headset and microphone and occasionally addressed the tour group with info or fun facts related to the tour. He was a very friendly fellow when we were intermingling at the vineyard stops . But the tour begins and ends with a 1 hour drive which provides a great opportunity to entertain and inform the tour group

Thanks for the feedback Peter. Most of our buses have headsets exactly for this reason. We will address the training and see what happened here. Yes it can be tough to hear in the back if the guide does not have a headset. Working on it and will be great for the summer.

Tim communicated the plan for the day and made clear the pros and cons of each location so we knew why the particular winery was selected eg some for diversity of wine others for the wine and scenery. Tim was also able to provide informative commentary as we travelled and the detailed responses to questions about the area and the wines being tasted. The group had a good time and never felt rushed. The wineries supported those with specific preferences eg all white or red and white. All 3 Australians on our tour were surprised by the Riesling which we expected to be too fruity. It was of course fruity but well balanced and very enjoyable - I’ve now got to manage getting it home in my suitcase!

We were a small group of seven. We all got on well. It was fun. Enjoyed the tastings at three wineries. Would’ve liked to have bought a few bottles, but my luggage was already quite heavy for flight home.

Kevin our guide was FANTASTIC!!! Backyard winery was great for atmosphere and access. We got to tour a part of the production area and stroll through the vineyard. The Charcuterie board was just right.

Coming from a world class wine region at home, was really looking forward to this tour to taste what Fraser Valley produces. Amazing tour guide in Tim, really lovely and very knowledgeable and great fun! Wines at the first stop 7 Township was the best of the 3 stops of the day, samples were lovely and we enjoyed a glad of bubbles. All the stops were beautiful locations and service was lovely.

We wanted a chance to experience a wine tour and this was the closest place we could go to that was near the city. It was such a fun experience. Tour guy was very friendly. All the people on our tour where amazing from all around the country and different parts of world. Would definitely do it again.

A great little trip to 3 wineries. The second one provided crackers cheese fruit etc. Our driver David was great. We were only in Vancouver for a day and a half so wanted to get everything in we could. I would definitely recommend this trip.
