Itinerary

Immerse yourself in the lush agricultural landscapes of Fraser Valley, British Columbia’s fastest-growing wine-making region located just outside of Vancouver. Enjoy chauffeur-style pickup service from your Vancouver hotel in the afternoon.

Begin at Wellbrook Winery, with its historic ‘Old Granary’ and turn-of-the-century feel. Wellbrook features many fruit wines from locally grown cranberries, strawberries and blackberries.

Next, sample award-winning white wines at the Domaine de Chaberton Estate Winery, a 55-acre (22-hectare) property located in a cool micro-climate. Then, try a smooth pinot noir at the organic Neck of the Woods Winery.

Your final stop is the Vista D’Oro Farms and Winery, which grows heritage orchard fruits and vinifera grapes. In addition to the delicious sample wines, the Farmgate Shop & Tasting Room offers other delights that you may want to purchase, such as an orchard pear and vanilla preserve, a pot of fresh lemon verbena and a fortified walnut wine.

Because this is a private tour, your group can decide how much time to spend at each winery. Your 4-hour tour ends with drop-off at your hotel, cruise ship or the airport.

Chuck was an excellent host and guide. Going in his 1974 Cadillac Limo is the way to do it! Some of the wineries were pretty decent- especially Country Vines and Lulu . Would recommend it.

Fun but expensive

We visited three places for our wine tasting. All were fun. The drive both ways took longer than anticipated. Over an hour. James was a knowledgeable and nice tour guide. Good experience but kind of pricey for the time included.

Chuck was our guide and had a great balance of interaction and time to leave our bachelorette group alone to enjoy their party. He knew the vintners well and made sure our group was well attended even though it was a sunny busy Saturday at the vineyards. He made great recommendations. We would recommend him. (P.S. He reminded us to "Joe" in the Princess Diaries. Just missing the earpiece"

Our driver was pleasant, but did rush along a bit and it felt as if we had to force him to converse with us at the beginning. However, toward the end he became a bit more relaxed. The first two vineyards were quaint and adorable, though we were VERY rushed through the tastings and not much information on the wine or the grapes were given at all. All in all, we had a fun time, but I may recommend choosing a better option for the more serious wine drinker.
