The driver was very very lazy and did not care. Guide was Just OK. The first half of the day was tour of slums and stops to get our $. Did not come all the way to uyuni to be driven around see their friends and try to take our $. Lunch was bad we didn’t eat it. Once we got to the salts flats it was beautiful. Do not take this tour!

Had a very knowledgeable guide that can tell you everything you want to know and more about the history of the area. Had some red wine and chips at sun down and got to see a great sunset with a reflection! Our guide refused to stop searching until we found the perfect spot to catch the sunset with a reflection which you don't always get to see due to rain and wind conditions being unfavorable.

Salt Flats were amazing. If you have the time, 3 day tour would be great to do with Red Planet. I only had time for the one day tour and the guides were awesome. Really fun and knowledgeable. The guide took us to a secluded area on the salt flats so we would be the only one in our pictures and spent so much time taking photos and had different ideas as to what we should do and try. Great day.

I can not speak highly enough of Louis and the team for giving us such an unforgettable trip to the salt flats, his knowledge and his patients to help us get some awesome photos. Thank you guys

It was Amazing! The guide tour was incredible and we had so much fun there! Our guide was so kind and took a lot pics from us. I loved the veggie meal!
I really recommend to do this tour!

Very good - amazing trip across Salar de Uyuni , Sunset on the desert and Cactus Island .

While the tour itself was decent, our tour guide spent too much time talking which could have been done during the car ride and not enough time at the train cemetery. We were also very stressed out that we would miss our overnight bus, which our driver reassured us we would not miss several times. We made it with 5 minutes to spare. What should have been a great day ended on a sour note as a result. I highly recommend going with a 3 day tour instead of the1 day tour if you have the time.

Incredible tour! There were a few different companies offering similar, so I wasn't sure which to pick, but this one was a great choice. The guides were really knowledgable, spoke fluent Spanish and English and were easy going. We spent some time at the Train Cemetery, which was good if not a little packed with other travellers before moving on to the salt flats. Lots of other companies don't give you lunch, or something like crackers and cheese, however, these guys provided a really nice, warm lunch with meat and vegetarian options which went down really well. The views of the salt flats were incredible, the expanse was breathtaking. Although lots of people were doing similar trips, the guide made extra effort to make sure that our group had our own space on the flats. They also helped our group get photos and generally kept everyone happy. Everyone was dropped back to their accommodation at the end of the day too, which was helpful. All in all it was an amazing trip, really glad I did it.

Pros:
The tour was amazing! Spectacular views and a great English speaking guide. He helped us to take so many unique shots.
Cons:
If booked directly with Red Planet in Uyuni it will be much much cheaper. Viator gives the flexibility of booking it in advance but for hefty amount!

Small group sizes and friendly staff and nice lunch. Plenty of variety in the day. Highly recommend.

Very interesting. Minus one star because some explanations may have been lost in translation our tour was in English.

The guide was great fun and salt flats amazing. However, the subcontractor used had not confirmed with us until the last minute and still did not tell the provider whom I met with upon arrival in town. Got confirmation jut prior to the tour!

I didn't have time to spare for a 3-day tour of Uyuni so I ended up opting for this 1-day trip which was well worth the money. The tour left from Uyuni so it involved organising an additional domestic flight from La Paz to Uyuni 50-minute journey and total return cost of approximately 100. The guide was hugely enthusiastic and covered in full the history and background of the places visited, as well as being a superb photographer during the classic poses on the salt flats.

Our tour guide, at first, was quiet and we we were not sure how great the tour would be. But once we got to the salt flats and we started taking pictures, is where he started to really help us out. he took great pictures for us. He also had a lot of knowledge about the salt flats.

This was an amazing experience. The guide knew a lot of interesting Bolivian history. We were at the Saltflat in the end of the raining season so there were a little water on top wich made the sky mirror itself in the water. Breathtaking! Got some beautiful pictures. Unforgettable day!
