Jose was the best tour guide for our day trip to the Uyuni Salt Flats. He was very informative, with a great explanation of everything and he made sure we bet the crowds at each stop. He let us stay a bit longer than most groups for the sunset, therefore we got to experience every last bit of the change in light and see the stars etc. Highly recommend Jose if you are looking to do the day trip to the salt flats.

An absolutely amazing experience - after 3 weeks in South America my highlight! Santos was a wonderful and dedicated guide.
We never made it to Uyuni! We sat in the airport in La Paz for four hours while the flight to Uyuni was repeatedly delayed for rain, making a landing dangerous. I communicated with the tour operator regarding the delays and then when the flight was cancelled and that probably would be cancelled the following day due to a storm on the way.
The tour operator simply said he was sorry and offered no path for a refund. I reached out to Viator for a refund, but the system didn’t allow me to explain the situation other than we did not show up for the tour.
We learned from the State Department the next day that a snowstorm had shut down Uyuni and left 200 people stranded.
This was so unfortunate because the main reason we came to Bolivia was to visit the Salt Flats of Uyuni.
If you only have 1 day in Uyuni I highly recommend this tour. It was fantastic🩵🤙🏽 Our tour guide Jose was excellent, knowledgeable, kind & gave us an extra treat seeing the stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️
All good , just follow the instructions from the guide. The tour was on time and Santos was very patient and helpful.
Very nice, interesting and beautiful tour. Guide told us many interesting things and showed good places
From start to finish an excellent full and fun packed tour lead by our Guide, Juan. First its the Ghost Train Graveyard, great for history buffs and train fans then to a salt production town to understand the many uses of salt followed with a lunch. Then the best part; the Flats which are stunning with some fun pictures to take. After its a hike on Cactus Island, not strenuous but watch your foothold on the ascent before a return to the flats and onward to the sunset. Juan was a great Guide going out of his way to take many pictures. A tour not to be missed in Uyuni if its a day trip you want.
Cannot recommend enough, from start to finish the communication and organisation of the trip was flawless. Our guide Jose was brilliant, excellent communication and so informative every step of the way. We saw everything that was advertised in the trip and had the most amazing day. Book this trip and book with this company!
Great will recommend this tour to everybody because everybody’s been so nice. Beautiful pictures very patient. !!
Whilst only 1 day, it was packed with memorable experiences. The salt flats are like nothing else. Incredible views and experiences. Carlos
was also quite the entertainer and photographer - some great photos came out of this trip. I would love to come back to explore the salt flats more.
Amazing tour! Jose is the best guide. Very informative! Excellent pictures and unforgettable memories!
Tour was May 24, with Jose. One of a kind experience! Jose is a local and extremely knowledgeable. He speaks English very clearly and has a kind heart. We need more people like him in the world. Highly recommended!
5/5 Stars – Absolute highlight of my travels! Exceptional from start to finish.
I just completed an incredible full-day tour of the Salar de Uyuni, and it was easily the number one highlight of my trip! If you are looking for a flawless, deeply memorable experience, I cannot recommend this team highly enough.
From the very beginning, the ease of booking and the thorough pre-tour organization put me completely at ease. Every logistical detail was handled seamlessly, allowing me to just sit back and absorb the breathtaking beauty of the landscape.
The entire journey was an absolute dream. We drove over 120 km across the pure, bright white, roadless salt sea. Our expert driver-guide took incredible care of us at every single stop, ensuring we were safe, comfortable, and well-informed. They were also an absolute pro at staging hilarious and creative perspective photos and videos out on the endless white plains!
We saw the fascinating "eyes of salt" where pressurized groundwater bubbles up, enjoyed a wonderful lunch right out on the flats, and hiked through the surreal, ancient giant cacti on Incahuasi Island. The guide even tracked down the perfectly flooded areas so we could witness the mind-bending, infinite mirror effect where the sky and earth completely blend together.
To top it all off, we wrapped up the day watching a stunning sunset while sipping red wine right in the middle of the massive, quiet white expanse, before being driven back perfectly safely.
This tour company doesn't just show you the salt flats; they take care of you like family while doing it. Professional, organized, safe, and deeply passionate. Do not hesitate to book with them!
This was such an amazing experience. It has been on my bucket list for atleast ten years now and it was definitely worth the wait.
Most amazing experience don’t miss out on best day ever .Got some amazing photos and our tour guide 5 stars made it a memorable day .
It was a great trip. Both of our guides were excellent hosts giving us good insights into the climate, industry and history of the area. They complimented it with wine, snacks and chocolate a fabulous sunset for photos.
Really enjoyed this experience. Henry was a brilliant tour guide. 10/10 tour. Can’t wait to return and do this tour again.
Amazing! José was very experienced and provided a great tour. The group was a good size and would highly recommend.
This is a small group tour. Very well organized. Our flight from La Paz was delayed by 3 hours and the tour operator stayed in touch and made sure we were picked up at the airport and joined the rest of the small group as soon as possible. Lunch was very good, served in the original salt hotel. This is an amazing day filled with incredible sightseeing. We saw the salt flats during the day in the dry area, followed by cactus island and back to wet part of the salt flats at sunset to enjoy the incredible mirror effect.
I had a great time at the Salar Uyuni, our driver and tour guide Oscar was exceptional, very friendly and he took us to the bests spots to see the best views of the flats and the reflections, he took great photos of us and had a great time.
Experience to remember. Very we'll organized and guided. Driver and guide Jose was excellent explaining different points of interest, he took good, funny pictures. We both were very happy. And not to forget, he organized the pick up of my jacket I forgot.
Jose was a true subject matter expert and made the experience both informative and enjoyable. Highly recommend.
One of life's most memorable trips! Our guide, Jose, was top shelf. Clear instructions, we'll timed stops, great photos, and a heap of information. The food was incredible, the 4x4 was comfortable, he let us control the music (bluetooth), and had a phone charger too. This is an absolute must trip to take.
Wow wow wow! What an amazing day. The highlight of my week in Bolivia. Communication beforehand was good, except they don’t pickup from hotels (town is small) but they did drop off at the hotel. Checking in was chaotic as there are tons of different tours leaving. Mine was with 3 others and Valeria was the guide. She was so sweet and knowledgeable and could have conversations with everyone. She took good photos and videos. The day itself was well structured. Some stops were a bit long but we would leave if everyone was done. I thought each stop was interesting, but the highlight was the sunset mirror effect. Breathtaking! We were never rushed. English was great by the guide. Driver was safe and attentive.
The best experience in Uyuni. This tour included everything: comfortable transportation, beautiful places, profound explanations, Bolivian food, funny photo session with a bit of yoga 😄, sunset with a glass of wine and ever an extra in a form of a starry sky 💫 I am very grateful to the tourist guide José for taking a great care of us!

One of the most incredible and unique experiences I’ve ever done! José was incredible, he was knowledgeable and told us about the histories of each location, accommodating for enough time to experience everything and had such a lovely attitude!
The tour locations were out of this world, everybody was in awe the whole time. The Cactus island was so unexpected and interesting history, and the salt water flats with the mirroring effect at subset was just breathtaking. I would absolutely recommend to anybody!
If you just want 1 day on the salt flats this is the tour for you. Great guide/driver (Henry) Really looks after you and makes the day so enjoyable.
It was well organised and a lovely tour. The food was excellent, boots were provided for the water, and the guide and driver was brilliant. Definitely recommend.
Fabulous full day experiencing the diversity of Uyuni and the magnificent salt flats. The lunch was great too.
If you only have one day, this day tour offers a great experience with a knowledgeable tour guide. Some of the stops are a little unnecessary and feel like filler, but the actual salt flats with the water effect and the sunset is incredible and this alone is worth the tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and spoke excellent English. The lunch and evening snacks were nice and kept me full throughout the long day.
