Smooth and simple experience end-to-end. The 8am departure is valuable to ensure you beat the crowds and get time to yourself at the top of the statue. Well guided tour that gave a solid understanding across both history and local culture.

Booked this midday tour as we had limited time and could not sign up for a full day one. Our tour guide along with the driver picked us up promptly and drove us to see the Genkhis Khaan Statue, and Ariyabal temple which is near Turtle Rock. We received a brief overview for each site and had a good time overall. However, I would have liked to learn a bit more about Mongolian history and culture.

This half day tour was perfect for our group of 4. We all had different arrivals in UB and we were able to rendezvous as a final group with this tour. Our guide Enjii was lovely in accommodating our different pick up points and really kept us on track to visit all the sites as advertised. Driver efficiently transported us to Chinggis Khan equestrian statute, Turtle Rock and to the beautiful Aryapala Meditation Temple. Enjii was very knowledgeable and passionate about each of the places we visited. Thank you for a wonderful half day excursion on our first day in UB!!

Do not book this tour via Viator. I'm currently in process of reversing credit card charge as false advertising and they are illegally advertising the wrong trip information. I have contacted Viator - lol. Absolutely no help. It says very clearly on my ticket the correct information. This tour was not what was offered on my ticket. Definitely not a reflection of the tour guide whoever who was lovely - knowledgeable and friendly.

I had a really wonderful experience on this tour - I got lucky and the other people signed up for the tour did not show up, so it turned into a private tour. My guide was extremely knowledgeable and allowed me to extend the tour beyond the Summer Express. I would highly recommend this tour company!

Since the huge Ghengis Khan statue is about an hour away from the city and public transportation to the statue appears nonexistent, I decided to book this tour, and I'm glad I did.
Bat, my tour guide, was very knowledgeable about his history and thoroughly answered all of my questions. I also liked that he wasn't pushy about buying souvenirs as some guides can be since they get a commission - Bat wasn't like that at all.
I would recommend this tour to friends and family.

What a great day. It is hard to see much of Mongolia in only a short 3 day visit and I really appreciate the itinerary that got me out of the city to see a few things for the day. Andaa and Ulzii from Rara Avis have been far more better than tour leaders , rather just like friendly companions.
A great afternoon visiting Chinggis Khan statue, Turtle rock, Terelj national park and monastery.
Very comfortable drive, all well scheduled and on-time.
Monastery is a bit of long walk with about 130 steps be prepared and have warm clothes with you.

Bat is a nice young guide who understands a lot about Mongolia. You can ask him about anything. He told us many details while touring the museum, which is helpful and informative. Additionally, he can speak English fluently. I totally recommend.

I was so happy to book this day trip to fill up my transit time in Ulaan Bataar. This turned out to be my personal tour as there were no other travellers this day. The ride to the Chinggis Khan statue is about an hour each way. My guide was extremely informative about Mongolian history and shared lots of details about the world's greatest warrior and his dynasty. My driver was patient and very careful while driving. All in all a very good tour.

Great day trip, exactly as described with possibility to shape it up to you (time partition between sites, continuous guiding explanations or question/answer type). Charismatic guide and careful driver Bat really did his job on best way trying to make this trip interesting for me. Highly recommended.

I booked this tour just the day before but the provider was very kind to accommodate me. The tour starts at 1 pm which is not like usual tours however we managed to cover all the points of interest. I happened to be the only one in the tour so it was a pleasantly private tour by accident, I had a driver and tour guide to take me for the day. Special mention for the tour guide Bat for going above and beyond to ensure I leave feeling satisfied about the experience (the pictures were taken by him). We also climbed the back of the turtle rock however for this, in my opinion is quite dangerous since it was very steep and literally like unguarded rockclimbing (not recommended for older people)
I recommend that the tour company maybe print out some explanations about points of interest since there was not as much detailed explanation for clients to read, and provide more guidance for the tour guide since he seem to operate without much guidance regarding explaining each point of interest / safety and seem to work very long hours without much break

This was an awesome tour. My guide/driver Namsrai was great. He was prompt in picking me up and as I was the only one on the tour that day he was wonderful in his conversation and explanations. The statue, turtle rock, and the Buddhist temple were all beautiful. I highly recommend this tour.

My friend and I only had a full day in Mongolia, so I booked a last minute trip to hit the highlights and it was so worth it! The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The sunny day was perfect. I even got to name a rock formation! It was a good hike up to turtle rock and the monastery. Worth every penny.

The tour was very good, I saw the statue, museum and the cultural show and had a meal, although the guide was not certain that the food was included. After finding out it was I went in the restaurant. The guide spoke good english and was very informative..

The overall experience was smooth and comfortable. The weather happened to be beautiful which made the experience 200% better. The service was nothing short of what I wanted. The guide was a friendly man who had great knowledge of Mongolian history. I felt like I saw both the capital city and the nature of Mongolia in a short amount of time.

I didn't have high expectations, had half a day to see the great statue of Genghis Khan. The guide was a well spoken young man who was waiting for me at the lobby. We had a nice conversation on the way, where he would nicely ask whether I wanted to take photos on certain spots on the way. Didn't seem to mind that this prolonged the trip, which I greatly appreciated. Loved the entire experience and the money I paid was worthwhile.

We had one day to spend in UB so we booked this trip thinking it will cover everything but TOUR GUIDE DID NOT SHOW UP. I messaged them 20 days prior to the trip but did not get any response but I thought they will show up during the day of tour. Their phone number does not exist either. No means to contact them whatsoever. We were stranded with no plan. Worse experience! Don’t book, looks like they are scam.
