Itinerary

Your tour begins in the afternoon with hotel pickup by your private guide, who tells you about your itinerary as you set off for your first destination, Taman Ayun Temple, the royal family temple of the Mengwi Kingdom. Translating to 'beautiful garden,' Taman Ayun was built in the 1600s and is surrounded by a moat.

Then make the roughly 30-minute drive to Tanah Lot Temple, known for its perch on a rocky outcrop that provides photo ops and one of Bali's best sunset vantage points. As you watch the sun go down, you can ponder the significance of the temple—one of the seven sea temples along Bali's coastline—which is part of the island's mythology. Afterward, return to your hotel for drop-off to end your tour.

Great intro to Bali

We had a wonderful time from pickup to dropoff with our energetic guide Asta. We especially appreciated his flexibility and advice on local attractions. Tanah Lot at sunset is especially beautiful, and our hike to the waterfall was a great adventure. Despite the famed Bali traffic, we were comfortable every minute.
