Uluwatu temple

The guy who drove me there was great but sincerly the temple is nothing.. You can't even entered in, so the price is just for taxi and some further information.. Don't know I expect more from this visit but the temple is sincerly just a view..

Amazing cultural experience… bad customer service

For the most part this was an exceptional experience and I would’ve given it a full five stars if it weren’t for the company not replying to me when I had an issue I raised. The tour itself was great. The two locations are extremely beautiful and my driver was extremely knowledgeable and was happy to tell me about the history and culture. My issue was that when I booked it, it said both locations entrance fee was included (I took screen grabs to prove it) but when I spoke to the driver, he said he was informed they weren’t. This man is getting a fraction of the fee and so I wasn’t going to argue with him or have him out of pocket so I tried contacting the company to clear it up and they never replied. It’s something I’ve noticed with three of my Viator trips I’ve booked. My advice is the day before you are to travel, speak to the booker and clear everything up and make sure you know what exactly you’re paying for.

Fantastic late afternoon trip

Wira our driver was punctual and very knowledgeable. The tea coffee tasting was a great experience. Tanha lot was to cloudy for a good sunset, but it still was a great day out

we had an unforgettable evening at Tanah Lot. Our guide Mr. Bawa was very nice and took lots of beautiful pictures for us! Mr. Bawa managed time very well we arrive at Tanah Lot right before sunset despite heavy traffic. a must go tour in Bali!

View with a temple, not temple with a view.

It was great to visit the Taman Ayun Temple. Walking around the grounds was eye opening. The next stop was the Tanah Lot temple but you don’t actually go to the temple you only view it from afar. Check the weather before you book so you at least get a chance to see the sunset as a cloudy afternoon won’t be as spectacular. Also leave time to visit the awesome markets there.

Beautiful Temple, Decent Tour Experience

The driver arrived early, which was a great start. Tanah Lot and the surrounding areas were absolutely beautiful and worth exploring. Unfortunately, the sunset wasn’t as spectacular as hoped, but I still made the most of the experience.

Not a tour...just a bad taxi

Absolutely dreadful booking experience...charged for entrance fees which Web site and ticket show as included. No bottled water as also stated. Simply abandoned by guide at the stops. May as well just book a taxi as that's what you get. AVOID at all costs.

Great way to see these Temples

We booked this tour at the last minute to try and get more site-seeing in our trip. Our guide Mr. Mery was very knowledgeable and was able to give us the history and significance of the Tanah Lot Temple and the Taman Ayun Temple. I highly recommend this tour but my only reservation is book the tour when you are in the southern part of the island. We were in Ubud and you spend a lot of time in the car and in traffic.

Tanah Lot tour with Nova

Nova was the best guide. Our tour from the beginning to end was great. We learnt so much about the Tanah temples but also the towns and people as we drove. A side trip to the Bebek coffee tasting was so good. Tasting a dozen teas and coffee and their famous Luwak cat poop coffee for coffee lovers was so good. Nova really made the half day tour exceptional.

Sunset experience at Tanah Lot

We visited two temples on the tour. Our driver, Yoga, was punctual & very good to show us around the 1st temple with beautiful gardens & architecture surrounded by a lake. We then arrived before sunset to take in the magnificent ocean views and temple structures (several) of Tanah Lot. Absolutely amazing scenery & definitely a highlight to see in Bali

Tanah Lot Half Day Tour

Loved seeing the different temples at Taman Ayun Temple and Tanah Lot Temple interesting historical place and beautiful scenery. The only thing that was disappointing was the guide didn’t talk about at history of Taman Ayun Temple to know what we were looking at, and also disappointing at Tanah Lot temple was closed off we couldn’t explore the temple. Over all our guide Wayan was friendly and helpful during the tour.

Great tour, worth it!

Had a great time on this tour. We got to explore a few different areas of Bali and the Tanoh Lot sunset experience and seeing all of the bats flying out of the cliff cave (from a distance) was pretty incredible. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the van was comfortable with good AC.

As a team we had a great time, the tour guides new their history and made it enjoyable to learn about the sites we visited, plus they made sure we got to take our time and see everything as a group we wanted to see based around the tour. Highly recommend this tour.

Nice location but this isn’t a tour

Tanah Lot Temple was lovely, as was the view at sunset. The best part of the trip was the fire dance in the evening which shouldn’t be missed. This wasn’t really a half day tour, just a taxi ride to the location and little more. Book a taxi or try another tour.

Good tour if you want to see Tanah Lot for sunset.

This was a good tour. We left from Ubud so it was a lot of driving to get to Tanah Lot. Tanah Lot was beautiful especially at sunset but keep in mind there was a lot of people. We did stop at theTaman Ayun temple which was very lovely as well and hardly anyone was there.

100% worth it

This was an amazing experience to do because we got to see the history of bali and the Taman Ayun Temple where there was so much history behind it. Our guide and driver Mr Merry was such a humble and charismatic man, and any questions you can think of, he will be able to give you a knowledgable answer. If you need someone to guide you to tanah lot, Mr Merry is the person to ask for. And seeing the sunset at Tanah Lot was a plus as well, it was such a beautiful experience to watch.

Great tour with Ricky! He arrived right on time, gave us loads of info and offered to take photos for us throughout the afternoon. He was a great photographer! Taman Ayun temple was beautiful, as was Tanah Lot, even though there was too much cloud for the sunset. He walked with us the whole time and made us feel very safe and looked after. Thank you Ricky!
