Awesome! Mawe was our driver, he was so wonderfully kind and friendly. He even helped out with an unscheduled stop to help us find something we needed, HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with Mawe. Siska was our guide, she is incredible and I adored her, helpful and very friendly. She took great care of me, made sure I was pacing and helped anytime there was question about something steep. I loved this hike, went with my two high school aged kids so they found it easier than I did but with Siska’s help, I managed just fine.

A memorable experience (in a mostly good way)

We accepted the challenge, together with our grown up children and their partners, to wake at 1.30am and drive two hours to then hike up a mountain. Totally worth every painful aspect of that. The walk - both up and down - is not for the faint-hearted. Very fit people will have no trouble but others will struggle. One of our party had to commission a dirt bike to take him up. Despite the hardships, this is an unforgettable experience, and made even more so by our gorgeous guide Made Winarti, who is charming, encouraging, and knows the mountain like the back of her hand. We loved her. Five stars from these trekkers, young and old, fit and less so.

Even though the day was cloudy and there wasn’t that good a view the treck was good. Moderate walk to the top. Would do it again just not with this company Had track a number dian for them to confirm my pick up location. Impossible to catch. Pick up time was changed from original time by driver to 1.30am which was lucky I saw. Poor kid almost fell asleep driving there and we nearly had a head on collision. On the way back he diverted to pick up a family member which put a lengthy delay to getting home. Had no info about the trip or hike but anyone which alot of reviews said they had

Ayu was such a lovely tour guide, she went above and beyond and made the experience so amazing. Definitely worth the view and was very rewarding. It was very cold around 14 degrees so bring a jumper (can also hire jackets at the bottom before the hike)!

We had Bagia as our tour guide and he was amazing! He adapted to the pace we set and showed us all the best photo spots. He was really knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. Would recommend a hike with him

Every thing went well but going with a sleepy driver was dangerous

We had an amazing time doing the Mt Batur trek. Our guide Wayan was super and he was very knowledgeable of the trek. He made us a delicious hot Coco and banana sandwiches at the top and took fantastic photographs of us!! It was the best way to start the morning. Thank you Wayan.

We had a great time doing the Mount Batur sunrise trek! All the communications from the time of booking were clear and concise from Gede, so arranging pick-up, timings etc. was very easy and stress-free. Pick-up was o9n time and driver felt very safe for the entire duration of the visit. The car was clean and comfortable, and he had lots of bottled water for us throughout the day, included in the price. We met our guide, Wayan, at the base of the hill. Very nice guy and allowed us plenty of rest time when needed, but we still reached the summit in good time. although we were unlucky and the morning was exceptionally foggy, meaning we didn;t see the sunrise, the trek itself was very rewarding and Wayan was fun and engaging throughout. Wayan also made us a nice breakfast of banana sandwiches, boiled eggs and chocolate bars, as well as tea/coffee. He also took some really nice photos for us which came out well, despite the visibility. All in all, we'd highly recommend booking with this operator - thanks for a fun time, guys!
