I will pick you up at the hotel. adverb of time Hotel pick up 2.30 Meeting point/starting point 03.45 briefing and information from local guide 5 minutes start trekking 3:50 am. Arrive at the top of Mount Batur 05:45. Watching the sunrise while having breakfast served by local guide 06.20 Explore the crater and start descending 07.00 am. Arrive back at the start point / meeting point 08.00 am. Arrive at the hotel around 09:30. If you are staying outside Ubud or the southern Bali area such as Seminyak, Kuta, Pecatu, Nusa Dua and others, the pick up will be earlier because the pickup distance to the meeting point/start point of Mount Batur will increase so we will pick you up earlier. about 30 minutes.

Driver didn't turn up

Despite me confirming the hotel pick-up with them the week before, the driver didn't turn up. They'd tried to call me at 21:30 the night before (I guess to work out an alternative) but I was asleep as the pick-up was scheduled for 01:30. However, they didn't tell me that the driver wasn't coming until 02:10, after I'd been waiting in the hotel lobby for 40 minutes. They didn't answer any calls or my messages that morning, nor the message I'd sent to them the day before. I'd booked this tour specifically as a Candi Dasa pick-up was offered so this was really disappointing. I did get a refund quickly though
