Itinerary

When you book this tour, please briefly explain where you plan to visit in the “remarks” field. That lets your private driver plan your itinerary, adjust your schedule if the logistics don’t quite work, or provide suggestions for other attractions to visit.

On the day, your private driver will pick you up from your address in Ubud or much of south Bali in the size of car you’ve selected.

Then they’ll customize your Ubud and south Bali itinerary to the most time-effective route, giving you all the freedom of independent travel without the self-drive stress.

Your tour lasts for 10 hours but can be extended for a small hourly surcharge. It covers south and central Bali, including Ubud, but you can travel to Karangasem and Klungkung in east Bali or Buleleng in north Bali for a surcharge.

Your driver covers gas, but any tolls and parking fees are at your own expense.

Driver never showed up we had to ring for another driver- and we requested a refund- however they insisted driver arrived but claimed we checked from hotel- we where denied the refund

With the amount of Traffic in Bali it is impossible to visit all the places listed in tour descriptions. It took us overc2 hours to get to the monkey forest which is only 38 kms from the port. The infrastructure in Bali is not suitable for the number of cars and scooters on the street.

This service was exactly what my wife and I expected — a luxurious and spacious van with reclining seats, leg rests, air conditioning, and an excellent, attentive, and accommodating driver named Topo. We gave him our schedule for the day and he made it happen during the 10 hour trip. Be aware you are responsible for any tolls and parking for the day, but everything is reasonably priced.

Our driver Nandha was very efficient in getting us to everything on our long list of sites and activities between Nusa Dua and Ubud. Amazing skills exiting Pura Tirta Empul in a massive traffic jam following the procession. We did not consider his English to be quite up to the level of English speaking driver that was promised, however.

Gungan was a safe driver on the very busy Streets of Bali and ww felt safe and secure the whole day. We visited numerous beaches (Nyang Nyang, Melasti, Suluban, Geger) and they were alll different but splendid. Mind you there us a bit of steep walking to some of them...We also visited Garuda Wishnu Kencana and it was a very impressive culture park well worth visiting. We also visited Turtle Island and that was the only place we did not fancy during the day and did not live up to its reputation. Again Gunawan the driver was the best driver ever during our plus 40 years of sightseeing.

We had a fabulous day exploring Ubud and the surrounding area with our driver and guide Troy. He managed to find us at a new marina that is not on google maps yet and planned a day for us with the activities we really wanted to. Troy gave us lots of information as we travelled around and particularly at the Hindu temple and the rice terraces. The Hindu dance theatre was also a highlight. His choice for lunch was excellent. Helpful Guide, Great Photos, and a Realistic Bali Itinerary

Spent the day with Oka, who was such a nice and helpful guide. He took so many photos of us, which I really appreciated! Before the tour, I was a bit concerned about whether we’d actually get to see all the spots listed in the itinerary. The list is very long, and realistically, you won’t see everything in one day. My advice: choose 5–7 must-see locations and show them to your driver right when you get in the car. Oka was upfront about what was doable, which helped set realistic expectations. Bali traffic is truly a challenge—going just 7 miles can take up to 2 hours (and this is coming from someone who lives in one of the largest cities in the world). That means things like visiting both Tegallalang Rice Terrace and Tanah Lot in the same day probably won’t happen. That said, the private tour gave us a full day of exploring a variety of places on my list, and Oka let us roam at our own pace without rushing. Overall, it was a great way to see Bali with the flexibility to customize the day.
