A great way to see many parts of Bali

My local guide, Ketut, was incredibly informative and communicative. Not only did he provide a comfortable car for transportation, but he also shared fascinating insights about the temples, making the tour highly worthwhile. A wonderful tour, well worth taking. First and foremost, our guide, Ketut Mudita, was absolutely everything we could have hoped for: he spoke English very well, had a wonderful sense of humour and with humility to his core. He had and shared so much knowledge about the Balinese culture and the sites we visited, he was exceptional in his care, and gave every effort to make our trip a joy. The sites we visited were wonderful too. We were early to Pura Ulun Danu, so not too busy and the weather was very nice, but not too hot with the elevation. Next the rice terrace were incredible, first with a scrumptuous buffet, then an easy walk through the terraces. It downpoured with rain partway through but Ketut was ready with his umbrellas and did all he could do to keep us dry:) On the way back down from the mountains the rain had stopped so we asked to go to the coffee plantation. There we had a full taste of different teas / coffees (complimentary) as well as an opportunity to taste the famous Catpooccino (at a small price).! Pura Taman Ayun was gorgeous, and we felt extremely privileged as we witnessed the local people coming in in traditional dress with offerings and prayer for a special day of ceremony. Tanah Lot was the last stop on our long day where Ketut found us a special spot to watch the sun set behind the temples on the sea. An incredible and very full day. Thank you!
