What a full big day. D was so accommodating and full of information. We hit all of the highlights plus a jewelry store, batik factory and wood carving operation at our request. His restaurant choice for lunch was delicious. We had a big day and made it back to the cruise ship with 1hour to spare. Ps: traffic is terrible in Bali and he worked the timing perfectly. If I could give it a ten I would.

A Memorable Two Days in Bali

Our friendly driver Dedek had suggestions of places we should see, but was amenable to taking us places we read about prior to the tour. He drove us around in a comfortable, air conditioned car. We asked to go to temples and to see the rice terraces. Dedek answered all our questions, and suggested a restaurant for lunch that we all enjoyed. Dedek also suggested an evening dance performance and stayed to drive us back to our ship. We met tourists who had paid a lot more money for their tour and didn't get the Bali experience we had. We enjoyed the tour so much that we booked Dedeck for the following day.

North Bali highlights

The pick up and return to the cruise port is flexible in line with your ship's time in port. You can choose your own individual itinerary to suit your preferences. Our driver Yudi was extremely helpful in planning our trip to ensure we maximised our time to see our chosen sights, rice fields, wannagiri twin lake Lookout, Brahmavihara Temple. He suggested a coffee plantation in the Munduk area which where we enjoyed some coffee/tea tasting. We also visited Banjar Hot Springs. Yudi was very patient with us. His driving in mountainous terrain was very safe and he provided commentary about the area and answered all our questions. He also took some awesome photos as keepsakes of our extremely enjoyable day. Would definitely recommend Yudi and Munduk tours for a North Bali / Cruise Port tour.

Weird booking experience

A weird experience— I didn’t even get to partake in this booking. I received a message that I was the only one booked for the day that I chose and the reply I got was that I could either pay an additional $30 fee (never told me what for), move the date (didn’t give me a chance to address this) or get a full refund. When I inquired about the fee and that there’s nowhere in the booking page that outlined a fee like that, they just cancelled by booking and refunded me (which I’ll get in 5 days). Overall, I’d advise to make sure you message them for clarity.

Great and Jam Packed Day in Ubud

Agung arrived promptly at our pickup location, maintaining great communication via WhatsApp. Within minutes, we were off to our first destination. After a decent hike, he picked us up with water and a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. He was very knowledgeable about the area and navigated the hectic Ubud traffic with care. Additionally, he took numerous pictures for us, always finding the perfect angle on all our excursions.
