Some parts missed, but great guide

Kamil was very knowledgeable and personal and friendly. We appreciate the pre-trip communication we received from him. He even took us to a part we may have a special interest in as Americans, which we appreciated. He was nice to my family. Unfortunately, we did not visit the Bardo museum, which was meant to be part of the itinerary and something we wanted to see. I also thought our guide would accompany us into the ruins of Carthage to give a detailed explanation of what we were seeing, and he did for the Phoenician section but not for the larger Roman section, where he explained some from the top but had us peruse independently. Having a more detailed interpretation of the ruin structures was one of the reasons we settled on a private tour, so that was somewhat disappointing. However, the parts that Kamil, he did very well. We got to see Phoenician work and Roman work, and he drove us up the Sidi Bou Said hill so that my elderly parents wouldn't have make the climb. He is a great guide, it's just important to know from the start what will and will not be included, especially if you have limited time in the country.
