    Misleading Description

    Lisa_P, Jan 2026
Communication the day before the tour was excellent, and the driver arrived on time. He got us to the sites safely, but we were under the impression that this was a TOUR with a TOUR GUIDE. It was actually a driver, who played a 5-minute micro-history recording about Carthage on the drive to Carthage, and then was not able to answer questions due to his limited command of the English language. He also did not provide water, which was in the description. The title/description of this experience is misleading and should be changed to reflect what the client will actually experience.

    Response from Host, Jan 2026

Thank you for your honest feedback. We are glad to hear that our communication and punctuality met your expectations and that you felt safe during your travels with us. We truly apologize that we didn’t meet your expectations when it came to the guiding and the small details like the bottled water. We realize how important those things are to a great day out. Please know that we’ve taken your words to heart. We actually updated our tour descriptions to make the distinction between a "Driver-Guide" and a "Licensed Walking Guide" much clearer. We never want a guest to feel misled, and your review has been a huge help in making sure we get that right for the future. We’re also making sure our team double-checks that the water is always ready and waiting for our guests. We really appreciate you helping us improve. and we hope we might have the chance to show you a much better experience down the road.

    We were very happy with...

    Zarina_N, Dec 2025
We were very happy with our guide Rafik. He is a professional driver, answered our questions and was very patient with the requests we had. I am not giving the full star review because from the description on the web I had the impression that someone will accompany us all the time. Actually we were transported between the different sites and were exploring them on our own. We had a short audio introduction of what we are going to see during the drive though.

    Response from Host, Jan 2026

Thank you so much for choosing to book with us and for taking the time to share your experience. We are thrilled to hear that you were happy with Rafik! we will be sure to pass your kind words along to him. We also sincerely appreciate your honesty regarding the tour structure. Please accept our apologies for any confusion caused by the online description. While we aim to provide a seamless experience with insightful audio introductions and expert transportation, we understand that you were expecting a guide to accompany you inside the sites. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. Thanks to your review, we have already begun reviewing and updating our product descriptions to ensure it is crystal clear that our tours offer "independent exploration" at the sites themselves. Thank you again for helping us improve. We hope to welcome you on another adventure in the future!

    Tunisia Has It All !

Since reading Roman History at school, I’ve always wanted to see Carthage and this Tour was a wonderful way to fulfill my dream

    Response from Host, Nov 2024

We are delighted to have been part of making this dream come true for you! Thank you for allowing us to share this special experience with you.

Great but not 100% accessible as advertised

    Lynn_W, Nov 2024
Most of the excursion and guide was great. We were reassured twice that it was "100% wheelchair accessible" and that was a big reason we chose it. It Was Not. Our first stop in Medina was not accessible and it was a long walk through the market. Then we returned to meet our driver and had to walk to another location to meet him! We went to Bardo next which was accessible and beautiful. We were tired from the first lengthy walk so drove to other destinations, but hardly got out of the car. We drove through and around a lot of sites, but most were not accessible. What we did see was great, but the lack of accessibility was disappointing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful.

    Response from Host, Nov 2024

Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed many aspects of the tour, including the expertise of your guide. However, we’re very sorry that accessibility didn’t meet your expectations. Tunisia is actively working to improve accessibility in its historic sites and public spaces, yet some places—especially in older, traditional areas like the Medina—present unique challenges due to narrow streets, stairs, and uneven paths that are difficult to modify without affecting the cultural heritage. The government continues to put effort into making these spaces more inclusive, but we recognize that there’s still progress to be made. We value your feedback, as it helps us inform travelers better and advocate for accessibility improvements with local authorities. We’ll take this into account to provide a clearer picture for future guests. Thank you once again for helping us work toward making Tunisia’s historical and cultural treasures more accessible to all.
