Carthage is fascinating, and our guide was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour of Sidi Bou Said was very beautiful!

We did a half day tour of Carthage and Sidi Bou Said with Mr. Lassad Chebbi, tour guide, and Mr. Adem Mallouli, driver. Mr. Chebbi was very informative and gave us a lot of details about the history of Carthage and the ruins around the Carthage Museum, aqueduct & cisterns, the impressive Antonine Baths, Tophet sanctuary, Punic port, and paleo-Christian museum. Since we are from the US, he also took us to see the North Africa American Cemetery. We then went to Sidi Bou Said where we strolled along the main street and took in the sights. It was very convenient to have the driver drop us off at so many different places that would have been challenging to navigate without a car.

The outstanding aspect of this tour was our guide. Fawzi was an historian, scholar and engaging conversationalist. Wandering through the ruins of Carthage would not have been meaningful without his insights. It was also enjoyable to discuss topics of cultures, customs and cuisines. Having an intelligent guide like Fawzi made this tour outstanding.

Tour was cancelled last evening, too late to rebook another tour as our cruise tours were sold out. We travelled halfway around the world to see Carthage…very disappointed!

We are sincerely sorry for this situation. Unfortunately, we had to cancel your excursion, as well as another one scheduled for a different couple. This was a case of force majeure: our two guides assigned for that date, who belong to the same family, lost a close relative the day before your excursion and were therefore unable to provide their services.
Coincidentally, on October 21, all of our professional and experienced guides were already assigned to excursions. In addition, two cruise ships were in port that day, which made finding a replacement guide even more difficult. We tried everything to find a solution for you, including contacting guides from other regions, but unfortunately without success, as October is a very busy month for tours in Tunisia.
We also attempted to include you in another group, but this was not possible, as we only organize private excursions. Even on the day of the excursion and after the cancellation, we continued searching for an available guide, but without success.
We hope to welcome you again in Tunisia and would be happy to offer a special excursion as a gesture of our apology. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Fawzi was extremely informative on our half day tour of Carthage / Sidi Bou Said, I think he could’ve spoken to us all day about the history of his country. His English was excellent and was very careful and attentive with my wife and her needs (she is five months pregnant). He also gave us a lot of tips and recommendations for things to see and look for in the Medina which we explored without a tour guide. Also, the car was perfect and driver always ready for us. Highly recommend this tour experience for a quick, informative and flexible tour of this beautiful city and ruins.

Excellent excursion. Well-informed guide who tailored the itinerary to traffic and our own wishes. Keep in mind that if you are coming on a cruise ship most independent guides are not allowed into the closed port area, so you will need to walk a short distance to the gas station right outside the port.

We had our own private vehicle, with a driver and a very knowledgeable guide who did an excellent job in providing lots of information during the day. He took us on a tour around Sidi Bou Said taking photos for us and pointing out the sights and view points. We visited several sights of Carthage and the guide personally took us around each one and ensured we had an enjoyable and interesting day.

Tour was thorough and left the perfect amount of time to leisurely stroll through and look at ruins of Carthage. There was no sense of urgency - a rarity for a tour that doesn’t take a full day.
Schedule was flexible enough that we didn’t spend much time in Sidi Bou Said itself(which we had seen a lot of already) and this had more time for Carthage.
Tour guide was knowledgeable, not just about the tour material but the area as well.

Chakib the Guide for the day was splendid. He was on the dot when he came to pick me up. He also kept me informed by what’s app a day in advance about the day tour and what we get to do. He was also very informative and tried to make it interesting. Not one question went unanswered and he was always cheerful.
He imme see us in the many millennia’s history of Carthage and also how the village of Sidi came to be. The car he brought and the drivers were great too. He was never rushed and was flexible on the time spent on each site. I would gladly recommend this tour

We had a excellent half day tour of Carthage and Sidi Bou Said with Chekib, driven by Hichem.
Unfortunately we were almost one hour late to the pick up point (although details were sent a day or two before I had no access to emails or messages so did not see it) however Chekib and Hitchem were very understanding and delivered our four hour tour as planned despite the delay (for which we were very thankful!)
Hitchem was an excellent driver despite the madness of Tunisian roads and Chekib was a very friendly and informative guide who clearly has a lot of experience! He also recommended an excellent stop for bambalouni in Sidi Bou Said and gave us tips for our trip into Tunis that follows the tour. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone short for time but looking a taster of both Carthage and Sidi Bou Said!

We were moved by the archeological site of Carthage and the historical insights that Maher gave us. Also, we enjoyed the walk at the Sidi bou Said and the Medina. Maher's information about the city was pretty interesting and helpful. We strongly recommend this tour!!!

The tour company gave us bottle of water and a fridge magnet which was a nice touch.
Would have liked more time in the village the house should have been included in the tour

Seeing Carthage and hearing the history. The guide was knowledgeable and experienced. The stories of the French were impressive.
