Overview
Visit the unique ecosystem of Sian Ka'an, a UNESCO World Heritage site, during this tour from Tulum. With an expert local guide, first stop by the Mayan archaeological site of Muyil, located just a short walk into the pristine jungle. At Sian Ka'an, take a boat ride through the mangrove forests that line the lagoon and the canals, ending up at Xlapak. Jump in with a life vest and as you float down the canals, keep an eye out for the more than 300 species of birds as well as other native flora and fauna. This tour advertises visiting ruins, but it does not go there. The Sian canals are beautiful and definitely worth a visit but go with a tour takes you to everything you pay for. This was a very quick tour and it was the most expensive one we took while in Tulum, it was hard to understand why it was so expensive. There were also no snacks provided as it said, but the tour guide stopped at a taco shop on the way back and had us pay for his food and our own.

Unfortunately on New Year’s Day many places are close including the archeological sites, we try to provide with the best service , as the guide food he never ask you to pay for his food , you offer to pay him , lesson lear , no more bookings on holidays . Thank you for open our eyes.

It was a very beautiful, peaceful experience. I believe you need to update your website because we were also suppose to see some Mayan ruins but is now closed? Overall Edwardo and our captain were extremely helpful and nice men.

Manuel was a great guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. The trip itself was amazing., A beautiful boat ride across the preserve and a wonderful float through the mangroves. So relaxing.

An absolutely unforgettable experience. Floating through the crystal-clear channels surrounded by lush jungle and the sounds of nature was surreal—effortless, serene, and deeply relaxing. The water is unbelievably clear and cool, and the gentle current carries you along so you can truly be present and take it all in.
Our guide was exceptional: knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate about protecting this special place. Easily a highlight of our trip and something I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This is one of the best tours I have ever been on! Such an amazing cook, unique experience exploring the Sian Kaan! It is beautiful and so relaxing! Think natural lazy river with warm fresh water!
Manual was the best guide and even recommend some amazing restaurants for us to go to after! On our next visit back we will 100% do this tour again!

Warning to all who book for Sian Kaan - there are multiple sites that sound almost exactly the same and we inadvertently booked for this one and another one. There was no follow up from this operator for two weeks and we thought we were going with the other one. Needless to say, we went with the other one and got charged the FULL price for this one (and the operator was quite detailed to make sure that the we were not at the hotel for him to pick us up). Our bad yes, but follow through on their part or at LEAST a discount for SIX people that they didn't have to do an afternoon for would have helped.

We had an amazing tour with Oscar. He was so knowledgable about the ruins and clearly loved the outdoors and nature in Mexico, and was excited to share his knowledge with us. He picked us up and offered us a beverage on the short ride to the ruins, then toured us through the beautiful ruins of Sian Kaan. After the ruins, it was another quick yet bumpy ride out to the lagoon. The ride across the lagoon was magical and beautiful, and we saw so many different kinds of birds -- osprey, herons, egrets, vultures. Floating down the canals was the coolest experience. It was amazing to be going down the same path the ancient Mayans took, and it was so beautiful to be surrounded by the mangroves. We would definitely recommend!

This was such an awesome trip! One of my highlights from our trip. Our guide picked us up at our hotels and tooks us off to the jungle to explore some ruins, then we headed to the canals. The water was really warm and the current really moved you along. The captain of our boat was a real expert and gave us a little thrill by expertly speeding through the narrow canals, overall it was a ton of fun!

One of the best tours I have been on. Mostly in part to our guide Victoria! She was very knowledgeable and a blast to be on the tour with! I would highly recommend this tour. I know that when I return I will be requesting Victoria for my next tour as there are so many others. She went out of her way to retrieve my sunglasses after I dropped them in the river after jumping in. Note: hold your glasses when you jump in so you don't lose them off your face. The river float was amazing. If there is anything to complain about it's that it was too short! I could have floated much longer it was so peaceful. Thank you Victoria!!

You HAVE to do this trip!!!!!! And be prepared to want to do more trips with these guys if you do. We were so impressed with the professionalism and passion of their guides and how personable they are. You will laugh, learn and experience the grandeur of the natural world while quietly strolling through the jungle and comfortably floating in the tranquil waters of the biosphere.
Don't book a trip with anyone else...it is so worth having a private guide all to yourself.
