Our trip was incredible. Visiting the Blue Cave, Komiza and Hvar was such a great experience. The tour guide Reinaldo and his assistant Steven were excellent. They were always attentive to our needs. Very professional and cordial. They are an asset to the company. They made our trip so enjoyable. This is a must take tour. I highly recommend to do this tour.

+Music was appropriate to the sailing, we enjoyed sun bathing at the back of the boat even more than the attractions themselves.
- There was a big lane for The blue cave, and the time we were waiting cancelled out the next stop, that was Stiniva Cove.

You will see Hvar, The blue cave, and a number of outlying islands. Each are beautiful and interesting. BUT you should be aware of a few things. There is not cover on the boat for all passengers so if you're fair skinned you may be getting 12 hours of sun on the water. The boat is labelled for 14 ppl but there were 16 passengers including crew. There was ample room but if you're "by the book" you may be concerned. They allow smoking onboard. There is no water available so bring your own. Lastly the most disappointing aspect is the crew decided to change the itinerary to put Hvar first thing. They said we were going to do breakfast there. So there really wasn't any time to explore (we were there about an hour) AND we had to buy cold sandwiches so we had something for lunch. I BELIEVE they made the change based on lines at other places but it wasn't clear. In terms of communication it was limited.

There are many tour packages that take you to Blue Cave and Hvar Island, this Viator Tour is different from two aspects: First, they use bigger boat with cover, so it is less bumpy, you won’t get wet and you have shelter from sun (4-5 hours of strong sun); Second, the boat captain is very savvy, he plans the tour itineraries to minimize the wait time in Blue Cave (You need to transfer to small boat in order to enter Blue Cave, sometimes you need to wait 2 - 3 hours if you time it poorly). Blue Cave is an experience you don’t want to miss, the light inside the Cave is “magical”. Hvar Island is a fun harbor town to visit, the view from the Hvar Fortress is spectacular (must go).

We were told when we got to the meeting point that we wouldn't be able to go into the Blue Cave because of the weather. Everyone on the tour decided to go anyway. Halfway through, they opened the cave and we were able to go anyway! It was a fun and easy day, too cold to jump in the water but we still enjoyed it! The last stop was Hvar and we decided to stay there overnight instead of returning to Split. It was a good decision because Hvar had a few things to see that we would have missed.

I really enjoyed this tour. We visited the islands of Vis and Hvar, as well as the Blue Cave, the Blue Grotto and the Blue Lagoon (for swimming), all of which were beautiful. The tour was well-organized and our guide and the boat captain were knowledgeable and skillful. It was a perfect mix of time on the water and time on shore. The only negative was the very bouncy trip from Hvar back to Split at the end of the day, due, apparently, to somewhat windy conditions, which couldn't be helped.

Unbelievable day! I booked this for my adult daughter and me. This boat is covered so you are shielded from the sun...you can choose to be on the deck if you want..Our boat captain and his mate, Marian made sure we were making good use of our day...getting us to several stops before the magic of the Blue Cave. Unfortunately the number of people who want to see the had increased, so you are assigned a number and get in line with your group - thus we stopped,he got our tickets and we went to see another cave in the meantime and we did not waste time waiting around. Do not go if you have back issues. The ride back was extremely choppy and there is no way around. Bring meds if you have a tendency to get sea sick. Thankfully our whole boat of people (12 plus crew) were fine. I happen to love the turbulence and found it exhilarating! Totally great, fun day. Highly recommend.

The 2 young men were fabulous. One of the passengers was sick and then especially ran a got medicine for him at their expense so he could complete the trip.

Beautiful day out on the water from Split! Crew were amazingly knowledgeable and made the day much better than we thought. We didn't realise you had to wait with a number for the Blue Cave, but we didn't have to do this, one of the team stayed and did this for us, and we headed to a small little fishing village nearby for a look around and a coffee! Green Cave has recently been closed to the public by the government but didn't affect us too much - instead we ended up at a different swimming spot for longer. Such a great day and highly recommend this tour!!

We really enjoyed this trip with the crew offering great tips about the places we visited and where to have lunch. The Blue Cave is amazing, we had a great swim in one of the coves and spent time in Vis and Hvar with plenty of time to see the main attractions. If you aren't doing a longer cruise this day trip is definitely worthwhile.

Best day of our entire Croatia vacation! We saw the blue cave plus a less popular and free cave, snorkled twice, visited Hvar and Komiza ad ate live Urchins right out of the adriatic. Our guides were amazing sorry, I don't remember your names and even let my girls steer the boat at the end of the day.
We were on the water from 8:45-6:30. Perfect day!

Tour was AMAZING! The Captain and Skipper were super friendly and gave great advice about what to do on the Islands. There was plenty of time to snorkel, swim and explore and the Captain went out of his way to find us a beautiful cave to swim in whilst waiting for our turn to enter the "blue cave"

I really enjoyed this trip. The blue caves were really cool, and visiting the the little towns were neat. I recommend doing this if you need to fill a day with something to do, especially on a hot day as the breeze from riding on the speed boat was very refreshing. A couple things to note is that we didn't actually go into Stiniva Bay because they told us it gets too busy now to go there and they took us to another beach where we found this neat restaurant about a 5 minute walk from the beach towards town. Also, we didn't really explore the green caves. We just went outside and that's it.

A really mixed experience parts of the Tour were brilliant, and parts were huge disappointments.
Pros: Friendly and helpful crew Anton and Marco, Blue Cave and Green Cave were fabulous experiences with only minor delays
Cons: Stineva Bay was only a 'drive-by' and our only photo-op was ruined by the crew deciding to tow some Croations back to their sailboat, Time was not well apportioned between stops, extra drop-off stop at Trogir added at least 30-minutes on the water compared to Split-only tours.
Neutral: Speed Boat was a 300-HP 34' Diesel boat - comfortable ride and roomy but not especially fast, 21 Knots average so outpaced by all 250-300 HP outboard-powered Zodiac-stylr boats. That rate of speed probably added 30 minutes to our tour compared to other boats.
Specifics: Picked up on time at 8:30 and given wind jackets. Set off directly for Bisevo Blue Cave, after about 6 or 7 other boats from Split going faster in the same direction. Blue Cave experience was efficiently handled and beautiful to see, but you spend only 5 minutes inside the cave with up to 3 other boats at the same time. Departed for Vis and spent 40 minutes in Komiza strolling the town and having coffee museum closed. Departed Komiza for Stineva Bay, which we were really looking forward to. It turned out to be a complete waste of time, as all we did was point the bow of the boat in toward the mouth of the Bay which was occupied by several dingys and swimmers, and turned the boat around. At that point our only chance for a photo from the back of the boat, the crew decided to tow some Croations in their dingy back to their sailboat nice gesture to the locals, but not helpful for the customers, so our only photos of Stineva are ridiculous. Then went to Green Cave on Ravnik for 10 minutes, which was wonderful lovely light and even saw someone jump from the top. Then stopped in Rukavac beach on Vis for an extended stop a beautiful little spot but stayed for far too long in my opinion 100 minutes we had lunch, a drink, a swim, and waited around for half hour before departing. Across the water to Hvar for 75 minutes, and really could have spent some more time there had to choose between going up to the fortress or walking the old town waterfront. Then back across the Adriatic to Trogir for a drop-off of some customer and 1 of the crew, then back to Split for disembarking. 9.5 hours total, most of it on the water, but could have been a better experience if the time had been managed better -- the 3 supposed hi-lights of the tour Blue Cave, Green Cave, Stineva represented a total time of less than 30 minutes of the day, and Stineva was a compete non-event.

This was an amazing trip. The boat was big and comfortable and clean. We saw others getting on little high speed inflatable boats, sitting motorcycle style and for a moment thought that was what we would have. We were so pleased when our nice big boat with proper seating showed up. The boat picked us up right from the pier in Split port. There was a 2 hour longer ride the longest one to the blue caves but the scenery was beautiful as you went through the islands so it didn't seem long. We got there right at 1030 which they said was the best time to see the caves. This was incredible and well worth it. Then a couple of other little stops and then lunch at the most beautiful cove. Every detail was handled and the communication was great. We returned back to Split around 6pm . A beautiful day on the sea.

The tour was amazing!
All visited places were fantastic and swimming in the green cave was an extraordinary experience.
The boat is new and the tour guide was friendly and really nice.

We had a great day on this tour and were lucky because the waves prevented people from going for a few days before. Each stop had something interesting or beautiful to see or do and we spent just the right amount of time at each. The staff were friendly and got us back safely when the waves started to pick up near the end of the trip.

The boat crew really made this trip special. Without them this trip would have been great. But because of them the tour was tremendous! They took photos when asked, let me charge my phone, and gave detailed explainations of the various ports, islands and caves. Five stars all the way!

Absolutely brilliant - highlight of the holiday. The guide and the driver were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There was adequate free time at all the stops. Blue Cave is beautiful and it was a great opportunity to swim in the Green Cave. Group size was good and the speedboat was fantastic and comfortable.

Happy with the beautiful places visited, but the tour was misadvertised as providing snorkeling gear. I asked for it and was simply told "No" by the boat captain, who mumbled and was hard to understand. Worse, he acted grumpy, scolding some guests for moving too quickly from side to side in the boat

The tour was absolutely amazing! The crew were lovely, and each place we visited seemed more gorgeous than the last. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to see Croatia in a short time frame!

I came to visit Split and Dalmatia and this is the best day-trip you can find around ! ! Money well spent
Michael B, Jun 2016
The tour was really good. The boat was new and spacious and much better than many of the other tour boats we saw.
The staff were great even giving jackets out for people to keep warm in the wind while travelling.
The only downside and nobody's fault is that the journey out to Vis is very long

PRO: The skipper spoke perfect English and was accommodating. Additionally, exploring the BLUE CAVE was amazing and ENCHANTING! Also, the SPEEDBOAT experience was EXHILARATING and thrilling. Additionally, adequate time was provided, so we could explore the different islands. Plus, we were provided with unlimited water and a FREE LUNCH.
CON: The Blue Cave tours is controlled by the Port Authority of Vis Island and the attraction is so popular that all guests should expect a 45 MIN to 1 HOUR WAIT in the hot sun before you can board the smaller boats and explore the cave. Bring a lot of sunblock and something to cover your head!
As a reminder, the tour is via speedboat, so be prepared to ride the waves!

The tour was great, the guy who drived the boat was very good, the Blue Cave is spectacular, and it is wonderful to swim in the Green Cave, but it is a long journey, too much time in the boat. The food was NOT to good. But if as us, is your first time in Split is something you should do.
