Great short trip. Boat is an excellent size so everyone gets a good view. Boat is also quick so can hit more than one vantage point to view whales

I scheduled a whale watching boat ride in Sydney Australia which was canceled by the operator due to rough water. When asked how I wanted to disposition my tickets, I asked for a refund because I was leaving Australia the next day. I was ignored. Total rip off.

The experience was amazing. The guide kept us out slightly longer to allow extra time seeing the Whales as we didn’t see them until the end. In the way back in they also made a stop to see some dolphins.

Quick and comfortable trip from Darling Harbour to the whales providing more actual watching time. Followed a pod for a while at a considerate distance but close enough to appreciate this incredible migration journey

A “2 hour tour” that lasted 1 hour 15 mins.
11:45 but turned up at 12, we set off and the tour guide informed is that it would take 20 minutes to get out and back and that we would be with the whales for 30 minutes.
From that i knew we were not getting our moneys worth.
We paid $90pp and expected to be out for at least an hour.
The tour guide barely spoke to us and didn’t create that special atmosphere you would expect.
I have been on one other whale watching tour (with barefoot whales) and that was amazing. We spent ages with the whales and learnt sooo much about them!
Luckily we saw some whales for the 20 minutes we had with them…

It says it’s a two hour trip but it’s an hour and a half. The crew confirmed it was a mistake & said it should be changed. Feel ripped off!

Advertised as a 2hr trip, but it only goes for 90 minutes and because we we 5 minutes late leaving the dock, we were only on the water 85 minutes. While the boat, seemed to have a pa system, the skipper/deckhand didn't use it so it was difficult to hear them at times. Safety demo of how to put on the life jacket, probably should have been demoed from the bow, instead from the helm towards the rear as people in the front couldn't see what was being shown.
Yes we saw a whale while we we out, following it for about 15 mins but there didn't seem to be much effort into seeking out any others like some of the other operators out there at the same time..
Overall just a bit disappointed and considering the cost is about the same for a longer trip, think the operators of larger vessels probably provide better value for money.

The trip felt rushed and a bit underwhelming overall. There wasn’t much time to really enjoy the experience or take in any sightings properly. Not fault of their own, but we only saw one whale breach in the short space we were there. A sight that could’ve been spotted from land at the distance we were. It felt more like sticking to a schedule than providing a memorable outing. I’d really appreciate the chance to try again with a more relaxed and thoughtful approach.

We went on a morning tour, and could not fault it. There was a great crew, great boat and saw lots of whales!

Whale whisperer never showed up to take us whale watching. We were waiting at 9:30am. But the whale whisperer never showed.

Excellent 2 hour whale watching trip. They got us out in open ocean very quickly. Once there we saw nonstop humpback whale activity. It was amazing to see whales repeatedly breaching. We have been on many whale watching trips and this was one of the best!

It’s the season of whale migration. The staff was nice, willing to know what we needed during the tour. Trying the best to find the whale.
