The activity was exactly as described, a 2 hour whale watch. We saw several whales and even witnessed some breaching. Good to have many eyes on the seas. We had a relatively calm day so didn't see any issues. Was both fun and relaxing. Our crew was very safety conscious which put me at ease and they were just as excited to see the whales. Even saw a few seals on the way back. Definitely recommend.

We were fortunate to have a sunny calm day and we thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. We saw so many whales as well as dolphins. One pod of whales put on a show right by our boat. It was amazing!

To start off with, we didn’t see any whales so that was of course disappointing BUT understandable that it is so far out of the tour’s control. That said, I would have still expected SOMETHING out of the guides/skipper - commentary on Sydney over the loud speaker, mingling with guests, etc. But they just give a safety demo to start, then you spend two hours going out and back from the Harbour, and then you’re on your way - no interactions included. Leaving two stars because the view of the harbor was still cool and we saw a small pod of dolphins, but overall just disappointed. We got a coupon to go again since there were no whales, but obviously the majority of us don’t have another spare day to give while traveling and even if I did, I wouldn’t give my time to this tour again.

So, we saw whales. But honestly the company should warn people if the seas are going to be rough and offer a refund or reschedule if swells are larger than typical. We had very rough conditions and nearly everyone aboard got sick. The trash cans were full of bags of vomit. I should have clued in when they were handing out the bags as we boarded… it’s likely I may never try another cruise like this again. Oh, and I actually HAD take Dramamine well in advance of boarding today.

Booked this on trip to Sydney with my family and it did not disappoint. Boat was nice and the crew was great. Got us right up next to whales for some unbelievable photos and videos.

We gift this experience to our friend for her birthday and we all absolutely love it! Got to see a lot of whales, we saw a whale jumping by the end and the captain stayed a bit longer so we could enjoy. 100% recommend it.

This was a fun experience. We went in the middle of November so the tail end of whale watching season and unfortunately did not see any whales, but we did get to see dolphins and seals. Note: if you get seasick, this is not the tour for you, as the boat is very bumpy.

On time. Friendly and helpful staff. Despite the poor conditions we saw a female whale and calf, active for parts of the trip although not all. They worked hard to give us as good a viewing as nature would allow

I had a good time, and I did get to see whales, but there was far too many people booked on the trip. One side was overwhelmed with people and if you aren't willing to push your way through a crowd you won't get a good sight of whales. The crew on the ferry did an excellent job finding whales and keeping us safe.

Best experience ever! I’ve done many in many countries by far the best one!
It’s like the whales were playing with us watching us instead of us watching them. Several came right up to the boat and stayed there for a long time. Very respectful crew on the whales safety

We were lucky enough to see a humpback whale breach the water 3 times. Great!
Had already tried to go out on the Sunshine Coast but unfortunately, the weather was too rough.

It's a nice experience. We are wondering if it's possible for us to watch whale. In any event, the topless cruise travelling to Tasman Sea was good enough. Surprisingly, there were more than one whale in our 2 hour Cruise. The crew members were nice and friendly too. Thanks to Tim, George and Emma.

We had some really good whale sightings and the crew were really good. However, when booking there was no warning about the extreme risk of sea-sickness. Before getting on the boat the crew said that almost everybody was going to feel sick and a lot of people were going to throw up, with them having no experience in the past with nobody throwing up on a trip. This is fine, however we would’ve appreciated being told this whilst booking/sooner than the day of the trip. The experience was really cool however definitely be warned of the strength of the waves in the Tasman sea! We managed to not throw up, however we would still probably not do it again due to the amount of people around us throwing up. Unfortunately the sightings weren’t worth that level of discomfort! Understand it is nothing to do with the crew etc, they were fabulous.

Able to see Humpback Whales for a first time in my whole life while on the cruise ship in the Tasman Sea while having a privilege to take photos and videos especially the whale's tails and springing up to the surface!

It was nice to get on the water but we didn’t see any whales. They said we would receive a return visit voucher but we never received one, probably because we booked via viator. Still trying to get those or a refund.
