Make your own way to the helipad or catch the shuttle from select Sydney hotels. After a safety briefing, board your helicopter. After getting comfortable in your seats and putting on the provided headset, listen to your pilot’s commentary as your helicopter rises into the sky.
Upon take-off, enjoy panoramic views of the Sydney skyline, Pacific Ocean, and the historic port of Botany Bay. Within minutes, your skilled pilot has you above the glistening waters of Maroubra Beach and tracking north along the coast. See the picturesque coastline of the eastern suburbs beaches, including Coogee, Clovelly, and world-famous Bondi Beach. - Individual passengers in excess of 100kg can't be confirmed on shared flights due to aircraft limitations and operating capacities.
- We operate Robinson helicopters that have a maximum seat limitation of 135kg (297lbs), passengers in excess of this weight will be required to fly in our larger helicopter and may incur additional cost subject to the number of passengers travelling.
- All passengers will be weighed upon check in. Bookings for two where the combined total is 180kg or more in total must book a private flight. Bookings for four guests are more than 360kg may also need to upgrade to a larger helicopter (additional costs and payable direct to the supplier) .
- All flights are sold on a shared basis where up to 6 passengers may be travelling on the helicopter. Single passenger bookings are welcome however all flights require a minimum number of passengers to depart.
- If you have an infant (a passenger under 2 years), you will be required to book a private flight for additional cost.
- Helicopters are collapsible wheelchair accessible, however the pilot is unable to assist passengers with boarding and disembarking due to occupational, health and safety regulations.
- Our bus transfers are a complimentary service, pickup is available from two different hotels ONLY where guests will be transferred back to Circular Quay after the flight.
- You will receive confirmation of your flight time and scheduled pickup time from a City hotel (if required) via email.
- If you do not require transfer or are staying in an area outside the City you can make your own way to our base, check-in is 30 minutes prior to the confirmed departure time.
- Please ensure that we have a phone number (including country code if applicable) for when you are in Sydney in case, we need to get in contact with you on the day of the flight.

I had an amazing helicopter ride over Sydney. Seeing the city’s key landmarks from above, including the stunning Sydney Opera House and the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, was truly unforgettable.
The whole experience was smooth and well-organised, and the staff at the helicopter centre were extremely helpful and friendly throughout. The driver provided excellent pick-up and transfer service, making the entire day stress-free.
I was able to capture some incredible memories from the flight, and overall it was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney.

Absolutely book this! It was my first time ever in a helicopter and now I want to do one of these that every scenic place I visit. It was such a smooth ride and I really enjoyed how the pilot pointed out all of the cool things to see below. Even though it was only a short amount of time it felt like a long tour because we saw so much! Very professional and I felt extremely safe.

This was SO worth it! We came straight from the airport, and they kindly let us store our luggage in the building. We watched a safety video and then discussed safety with the captain. We felt very safe while in the helicopter, and we saw such incredible aerial views of Sydney. The weather was perfect and the guided tour was so informative! Would definitely recommend.

Excellent experience from start to finish. From being collected in the mini bus, very friendly driver to arriving at base, the guys there were very professional, polite and explained everything perfectly. Nice and relaxing

Gave my weight when I signed up and paid for the excursion only to be weighed again at the office and told because of my weight I had to have my own personal flight and pay an additional 200.00. (Nice up sell)

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet your expectations.
Regarding the weight requirement, as outlined prior to your flight, our shared helicopter flights have a strict individual weight limit of 100 kg for safety and aircraft balance. When this limit is exceeded, the only available option is to upgrade to a private flight, which ensures proper weight distribution and also guarantees one of you the front seat with the pilot. As noted in our email before the flight, this upgrade carries a $200 fee, and you confirmed you were happy to proceed with that option.
We certainly don’t intend for this to feel like an “upsell” — it’s a safety requirement that applies to all shared flights, and we do our best to communicate this clearly in advance so guests can choose whether to continue or receive a refund.
We also appreciate your feedback about the tour commentary and pacing, and we’ll pass this along to our team as we continually look for ways to improve the experience for our guests.

What a great option when in Sydney visiting or even a local. Choice of different flight options ie private vs shared and a range of times and can extend trip from 20 to 30 mins if desired for additional cost. Good briefing advice dependent on the helicopter being used. A commentray was provided by the pilot of significant lanmarks etc with warned interruptions during the flight from flight path information etc. Our flight was on time and over Sydney via eastern part of Mascot Airport then over Darling Harbour with the skyscrappers of the Sydney skyline on our right then banked over the Harbour Bridge then some loops around the Harbour with views of the Opera House, Kirribilli House, Fort Denison, The Zoo, Manly, the eastern suburb bays eg Double Bay, Rose Bay etc, ships or craft on the water and out to north Head when banked to the right to follow the coast down to view the eastern suburb beaches like Bondi, Tamarama, Clovelly, Coogee etc and much more before turning inland to return to the helipad.
It was an exciting, rewarding experience to view the most beautiful harbour in the world from the air. I would recommend it to anyone.

This was our first-ever helicopter experience, and it was absolutely incredible! My husband, teenage son, and I were originally scheduled to fly the day before, but our flight was canceled due to an incoming storm. In hindsight, we were so grateful for that decision - the weather the following day was perfect!
We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary private flight for the three of us, which made the experience even more special. Our pilot, Johnny, was very professional, friendly and reassuring. Even my husband, who is afraid of heights, felt completely at ease and ended up loving the flight.
Seeing Sydney from above was unforgettable- the Opera House, the Harbour, and the stunning coastline (Bondi and Coogee beaches) were breathtaking. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff, especially Peter, who went above and beyond by picking us up (twice!) from the meeting point and dropping us off near our hotel so we could catch our flight back to Melbourne on the same day.
