After meeting your guide and group in The Rocks, start your ghoulish walk in the mists of time, when this neighborhood was home to sailors, prostitutes, sly-grog shops (where cheap liquor was sold illegally), opium dens, and many nefarious characters. Notorious gangs such as the Rocks Push and the Razor double-crossed their victims and rivals, sometimes going as far as murder. Hear the tales of unfortunate souls whose ghosts are rumored to roam the streets as your guide leads you through their spooky stories and former haunts.
As you walk through the darkened streets, your guide reveals theories about lingering mysteries and unsolved murders that have perplexed investigators for decades. Discover how sites such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Susannah Place, Dawes Point, Atherden Street, and the Orient Hotel are connected to one another through these tales.
Expect frequent stops for photo ops. After an eerie evening of ghost tales and possibly some sightings, your tour ends when your guide returns you to your starting point.

There were 5 of us and we left about 30 minutes into the tour, I’m surprised we lasted that long. The tour guide would not raise his voice so we could barely hear him and as he spoke in a monotone voice it made the extremely boring stories even more boring.
He was also very passive aggressive in his dealing with the people on the tour and I don’t think anyone was impressed when he tried to get two very drunk young girls to join in.
In five of us said it was the worst tour guide we have ever had and later on we noticed four other people from the group wandering around so we assume they also left the tour. Total waste of money.

We'd like to express our thanks to Warren for the tour on Friday night. It was most interesting to hear about the ghost stories, particularly the events at Luna Park in the 1970s. The informative and informal nature of the tour added to our enjoyment of The Rocks.

Sadly, the tour did not happen. Arriving at the meeting place prior to appointed time, no one was around. Messaging the operator through the Viator messaging app 3 times, we received no response. Left 20 minutes after the stated start time. Just sad as I had one night in Sydney and couldn’t find another tour.

Hi Bob , we are sorry our guide had a medical emergency on the way to the tour . Unfortunately we didn't know about this until the next morning when we contacted all guests . Again we apologize this happened and disrupted the tour.

Went on Halloween and it was amazing. The guy was very knowledgeable. We toured through the rocks and got to see all these cool haunted spots, and there was a good amount of walking, but it was easy to walk and the site that we saw were super cool.

Very interesting and full of interesting stories. The guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. She was very good at telling the stories that time flew by. I felt like I got a lot for the price. Good deal and interesting.

There was a lot of talking by the tour guide a lot of we think they still we think that we don’t know maybe this goes. Maybe there’s not didn’t get to look into anything. See anything go into any buildings. It was all just talking couple of stories I was very disappointed actually. It would’ve been much better to actually go into buildings going to rooms look through windows really set it up properly. There was at least 20 people in the group $40 ahead definitely not worth the money..

Great history and ghost stories tour of early Sydney. Nice walk around The Rocks in the evening. Our 16 year old daughter really enjoyed the Ghost stories that kept her engaged in the history. The noise of the local traffic made it a little hard to hear at times but the guide was very good and made sure we could hear all the time. We would definitely recommend.

This was a fun night, following our lantern bearing guide thru back cobblestone alleys of the rocks as he described life of the mid-1800s. All while present day Saturday night celebrations raged all around us. It was fun to watch the younger kids faces light up when the conversation turned to ghostS

This tour was horrible. We couldn’t hear any stories. The tour itself was chaotic. People were leaving half way through. The tour guide almost seemed to be boring himself. He wouldn’t talk louder even though people asked him to. Extremely disappointed and I want my money back.

We really enjoyed Thor’s stories of the history of the Rocks and ghostly murder stories. He was always telling us where the most haunted parts of The Rocks were and what to look out for. Unfortunately, we did not see any ghosts on the tour, but it was still very interesting, even though we didn’t go inside any locked buildings.

Thanks to Doc for a great tour. He had to be flexible due to how busy it was for Anzac day but didn't miss a beat. Some cool and spooky history about the Rocks area of Sydney. He even provided us help finding our way home and some restaurant recommendations.

The tour was recommended by a friend who visited recently. Glad we went and didn’t base it off how many stars. Loved the history that tied into the ghosts and of Sydney itself. Wasn’t sure what to expect but definitely different than your typical tourist attractions. Guide kept our attention and made sure the whole group stayed together… even the stragglers. Would recommend if you want to learn more unique things about Sydney and not deal with as many people like daytime trips.
