Pickup details

Take the 7.50am train from Central Station in Sydney, direction Newcastle for the Hawkesbury River Train Station. This train arrives at 8.50am. We will be ready to transfer you to your tour as soon as your train arrives. The transfer is only for guests booking the Oyster and Lovers Tour or the Shell to Showroom Tours. Transfer will return back to the train station at 1pm Please note that the price does not include the train fare.

Just off the M1. When heading towards Sydney from North, take the Hawkesbury River Rest Stop exit. When heading North, take the Mooney Mooney Brooklyn Exit. We are down the road from Mooney Mooney Workers Club and past the Hawkesbury Oyster Shed.

We booked it for 1:30pm on Saturday, got a call Saturday at 10:25am asking our whereabouts, apparently there was misinformation and they were told we booked at 10:30am. So we dont loose our booking we only had a choice to change it to Sunday 10:30am. This means we had to book a hotel to stay overnight. Absolute disgrace.

My sincere apologies if this wasn't clearly explained at the time, but this was an unfortunate error with the TripAdvisor booking system, which has since been resolved. While I understand the situation was less than ideal, I understood at the time that you were comfortable moving your booking to the following day. I also wasn’t aware this required you to extend your stay on the coast, and I sincerely apologise for that inconvenience. Had we known, we would have gladly explored alternative options with you. It was a pleasure to meet you in person the following day, and I’m truly sorry to hear that your visit didn’t meet expectations. If there was anything more we could have done on the day, we would have welcomed the opportunity to address it at the time to ensure you had a positive experience with us. I booked for 12:45pm oyster tasting tour, however the staff called me at 11:30am and ask me why I didn’t show up by saying the tour is a 11:30am. Told her that the booking is 12:45pm she said she didn’t got that confirmation from the ticket platform. I said we haven’t started from home yet. She then ask me oh so you couldn’t make this reservation? Sorry? I paid for 12:45pm for three people ok? She tried to kick off the responsibility, blame the customer. Unbelievable customer service. Finally we’ve got it changed to 13:00pm.

Hi Omar, We are sorry we didn't love up to your expectations regarding our pearls. In the floods of 2021 we lost almost all of our oysters and are still recovering. Our live pearl harvests will be returning very soon, however in the meantime there are many pearls from previous harvests at our Shellar Door available for sale.
