Alex and Get were great as was the boat ride to Anguilla. The beach stops were awesome and the guys kept the drinks flowing. Everyone had a great time. The bus tour was so so. The shopping stop was useless and overall Anguilla is about the beaches, not the land tour. Could have used a bit more historical info about Anguilla.
The boat is a speedboat which I was not aware of. On the way there it was fast but returning was dangerously fast. Very bumpy, jumping out of our seats fast. Despite asking the tour guides to slow down they didn’t. My family hated that experience. If you don’t like fast boats in the middle of the ocean this is not for you. Other than that the guides were very friendly and helpful.
The tour itself is overall ok. We got to see Anguilla by bus, ate lunch, snorkeled, went to the beach. Anguilla is a quiet slow paced island with not much to see or do. But it’s worth it to check it off your list of countries.
The boat ride was very fast, windy, and bumpy. The bus tour was great. I’ve been to Anguilla several times but had never done a tour. I enjoyed that and the shopping. The tour included rum tasting and chocolate tasting. The lunch was okay but not great. The beach time was mainly for snorkeling. We could walk from the boat through the water to the beach but there were no chairs. I’m 76 and it was difficult for me to climb on and off the boat. The crew was very patient with me and very helpful. I was disappointed that they ran out of rum punch at the end of the tour. I had waited to enjoy this on the boat ride back but there was none left. They did offer rum and coke or sprite but no punch. All in all I enjoyed the trip.
The boat captain and mate were awesome as was the bus driver on the island. Not much to see by the way of sights, so I would suggest the beach hopping tour…which is the main attraction on Anguilla.
Glad I went to Anguilla. Our guides, Lucas and Noah, were great, they made sure we were comfortable and had plenty of drinks available. The tour around the island is ok, theres not much to see but our guide had interesting stories to share. Lunch also took forever. I recommend the tour but check in starts at 8h30 and theres a sign to the right of the plaza. A bit more communication would have been appreciated from the company.
Lucas and Noah were fantastic and very hospitable. Always checking on us and making sure the experience was enjoyable. They had lots of fun facts about the boating industry to share. Eric, our tour guide on the island, was also very knowledgeable. He had lots of historical facts to share that I would not necessarily find easily online about Anguilla.
Lunch took a verg long time which took away from our swim/beach time. This was disappointing.
Also, it would be beneficial for the provider to update this particular trip. Once we got the digital ticket, it only supplied us with an address and a departure time. It did not give us a check in time nor the name of the provider. When you put the address into Google Maps, it shows "Anguilla Getaway Cruises" and "Billy Bones Charters". I believe they are the same. For those wondering, you have to check in for 830 with Billy Bones Charters. There is street parking available if the lot is full. (Also not provided in the instructions)
