    Anna was amazing. Very personable, funny. She has a beautiful accent that was very pleasant to listen to and learn from. Hands on experience. Our food came out great. A complete meal with drinks. It was a great dinner, perfect night. She made it so effortless. Will cook the dishes she presented at home. Very pleased with this experience!     Really hands-on cooking class!

    Small group setting made this class unique. Ana, chef and instructor, was delightful; clear instructions, engaging comments, brought context to the training. A four-hour class filled with four courses! New technical knowledge, new recipes, and full stomachs! 6 in our class; everyone participated fully hands-on from food prep to cooking to plating. The venue is upstairs in a small shopping center, small but completely modern industrial kitchen with multiple stations and with a little unexpected ambiance (Christmas decorations :-) Ana is enthusiastic, thorough, helpful, efficient, well-prepared; excellent host, and clearly an experienced chef. She made us all feel at home throughout the course. My husband gave me this class as a gift and it far exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a fun and unique experience that’s different than the Island’s many water-based activities, this is it. I’d highly recommend this whether you’re a novice or an experienced cook; it’s a fun creative experience!

    Ana is an excellent chef and teacher. A fine dining 4 course meal made with our hands and her heart. The encounter was exciting and fun. Definitely not your typical island tourist attraction. The Caribbean menu was authentic and will be easy to replicate at home (recipes are sent via email after the class). I'm a pretty decent cook with a few kitchen tricks up my sleeve. I loved the very clever trick on peeling a fresh mango (can't give away the secret now!). You've got to come try this class for yourself. No pictures can do the food or the experience any justice. You'll chat, laugh, cook, drink, eat and then some. This is my new favorite tourist thing to do on an island. Just do it then tell your friends to do the same when they're on the island. No regrets here.

    Fun Time and Great Meal

    Raphael was an excellent host and chef. We learned many interesting techniques and creative recipes. The evening began with a good rum drink he made and we had plenty to drink throughout the night. A fritter appetizer we made was the start and was outstandiong and all went from there and was great. His unique play on creme brulee with pineapple rings was worth the price of admission. The cost was well worth a fun, entertaining and dining expeience for an evening

    Fantastic experience! Anna was a wonderful host and great teacher allowing us to experience a varied Caribbean creole meal including appetizers, main and dessert. Her kitchen site is well suited to training, well located in a popular part of the Dutch side of the island and has a parking lot. And, she is a lot of fun! This is a strongly recommended activity to enjoy while in St. Martin!
