Fun way to experience history

This was so much fun! In 15 minutes we learned so much about Diocletian and the palace. I recommend doing this after you’ve toured the palace so you have a frame of reference for the layout. Remember to turn around fully to see everything. This was the last activity we did while visiting Split to end our trip on a fun and memorable note. It’s air conditioned and open to all ages.

Worth experiencing!

Worth doing! They even let us go in an hour earlier. We saw it after doing the Diocletian's palace walking tour. It was fun to experience and I'd even do it again. It reminded me of the VR experience with the Ramsey exhibit that was at the de young museum in San Francisco a few years back.

The costumes and the 360-degree views were especially interesting. I probably didn't really need advance tickets when I visited in April, but it was reassuring to have them. In the summer it may be necessary to purchase tickets online to avoid waiting in line or coming back at a different time.
