Best way to Experience Capri

This was an incredible way to see Sorrento, Capri and the surrounding area. Our Skipper Marco was so nice and so knowledgeable, he shared with us his love of the area. We enjoyed the sites, enjoyed swimming in a small grotto and had lunch on Capri. It was a wonderful way to spend the day and really get to understand the beauty of Capri.

My friends and I did this experience in June and it was a great day on the water, with Felice recommending lovely swimming spots and a place for lunch. While he got in touch a couple of days in advance to confirm the meeting location and time, at 1am the morning of the experience he sent a slightly different pin drop location out of the blue. We saw this when we woke up and went to that location, but struggled to get hold of him at the meeting time. After some messages and a call (which it appeared he declined) he said he was on his way. He arrived 40 mins after our scheduled meeting time (10am) and was apologetic but he brought us back around 4:30 so we didn't feel we had the full time that we paid for. We also had to ask for towels and drinks which were advertised as included, but we only had one each as the drinks were limited and warm (luckily we'd brought our own ice water). Snorkels and woggles/pool noodles were provided which was great. Overall we had a nice day - being on the water was amazing and Felice was clearly knowledgeable about the area, but we wouldn't book with this provider again unfortunately.

Great sights with many disappointments

The captain was very nice and brought us to some wonderful sights to swim and the views were amazing. But, there were some issues. 30 minutes late, charged 50 euro more to go to Sorrento (said our booking was for Capri only. We paid the 50 and did Sorrento only), took pictures and never sent them to us, rushed back and tried to drop us off an hour before it ended. We did 1 quick swim in Sorrento to lengthen the trip. We still were dropped off at 4:20 and the tour was til 5 ( should have really been 5:30 since they picked us up 30 min late). Finally, only 1 dirty microfiber towel was provided to cool the front part of the boat. We were unable to dry off and all our items fell off the seat in the back when he was driving. He left them on the floor and everything was soaked.

You booked a Capri tour but you wanted to go to Positano that is not on the same route, that's why you have been charged for €50 more. The boat was provided of 4 towels but you just asked for one. As you said the skipper was driving so he couldn't take your stuff from the floor.

A private flexible boat trip

Our skipper Luciano and Chiara looked after us so well. We chose where to go and how long to have in each place. They kept in contact when we were in Positano and made sure we were always ok. We all had a fabulous day out.

Awful experience. No lunch reservation and very bumpy ride, not relaxing at all!!

Not what we expected at all. We were very excited for our private boat trip. I have done many boat trips before and it’s always my favourite part of the holiday but not this time. First of all our captain didn’t book us a lunch reservation on capri (which is specified in what is included) so when we got to capri we were floating around waiting for 3 hours whilst he kept ringing to just be told they are full. My friend was very sea sick throwing up, so by waiting on the boat only made this worse. Because of this time we wasted waiting, we didn’t get to go to any of the spots that were specified. We ended up eating just off of capri at 4pm by this point we were starving. To top it off the captain did not make the experience relaxing or enjoyable as he consistently went way to fast meaning the boat was smacking against the water every 30 seconds and we all felt very unsafe with him speeding over big waves. He then rushed us back to sorrento after lunch and we all were hanging into the railings as he was going too fast and huge amounts of water was going into the boat meaning we got off the boat soaking wet from head to toe. He kept turning round and laughing which we didn’t appreciate as this was not the relaxing boat trip I had expected. We saw other boats going much slower and passengers were able to relax in the sun but no we had the opposite. We couldn’t wait to get off the boat. Would not recommend if you want a relaxing experience.

Hi Elizabeth thanks for your review, strange that this is the only review with less of 5 stars.. but if you start a tour asking for a refund then i can understand the reason.. well i don't see any way to make a good experience, about the restaurant i want to remember that as a boat company we don't own any restaurants in Capri and the description says " the captain will suggest you some restaurant along the island" also because this is an extra tip you could get a sandwich and have it on board. 2* if someone feel sick and ask to land then don't expect that the captain will go slowly.. thanks again

We had a great private boat trip to the Amalfi coast in an 8 hour ride wherein we landed / saw Positano and Amalfi. Trip was well organised by Felice who also ensured pickup and drop for us from our hotel. Would recommend to take this trip

Best way to relax on Amalfi Coast

Una experiencia inolvidable. El barco estaba limpio, bien equipado, con bebidas y snacks. Camilo, nuestro capitán, fue muy atento, nos propuso lugares para tomar fotos y se aseguraba que disfrutemos cada minuto. Sin duda recomendamos viajes con Camilo si estás por la costa amalfi.
