When we booked the tour we did not expect to have a guide who was originally from the village. Sarin really personalised the experience such that it was not just another sightseeing tour. We not only learnt about the area but we also met the people and got a deeper understanding their way of life. We did not expect to come across a young artist and purchase one of her first handmade flowers. Sarin also took us for some of the best local snacks and made our last day of our trip a memorable experience.

Seeing this village in Low Season is a treat

Saro, a local of the village was one of the kindest guides I have ever had. He took us by his sister’s place and we sat out on lake Tonle Sap while he explained what life is like out here. We tried bamboo sticky rice and donuts! It was not as “glamorous” as in the high season, but I found it to give more perspective as to how the people live in this village. A wonderful experience.

I had the best time on this tour. We got to see a part of Cambodia we would never have gotten to without this tour. I loved seeing the village, going out to the lake and eating some local snacks. Our guide was amazing and the best. He answered all of our questions and really gave us a flavor for Cambodian life

Wir hatten einen aus dem Floating Dorf stammenden Führer, der uns sehr viel über sein Dorf erzählte. Wir probierten Bambus Rice Cake, Kambodia Donuts, einheimischer Fisch. Mit tausend Eindrücken vom Tonle Sap Lake, Dorf, Land und Leute verabschiedeten wir unseren Führer. Ein riesen "Danke" an ihn.
