This was SUCH a fun experience!! MUCH better than I thought it would be. Very well organized, friendly, and lovely environment. Truly unforgettable and a nice respite from all the other things that must be seen. AND it’s for a great cause! 😊

A lot of fun. The staff very friendly helpful and tolerant. They explained everything the process and showed us how to create a unique piece to take home. We even received a printed certificate which is a great addition

The booking was easy - we were able to book the day before and everyone at the shop was great - they have a very efficient and smooth process. Everyone was friendly and it was a lot of fun! They had patience with us as this was our first time doing pottery!

Great activity and loved the opportunity to support local artisans. The teacher is right by your side to guide and help you. The atmosphere is relaxing and calm, a perfect activity to complement temple tours and exploring.

The people that worked here were the kindest! It is such a beautiful ceramics studio, we left with so many goodies. They baked cinnamon rolls in the middle.. We learned so much, we had an incredible time. Thank you so much we recommend this to everyone.

Such a lovely teacher! The experience includes a chance to create 5 different pottery pieces such as bowls, tumblers and vases. You can choose the best one you make to take home.
My mum and I decided to to keep our pieces, instead we were given the option to choose anything we liked from the shop up to $10 to take home instead - one each.
We actually decided not to make our 5th piece and take a break instead. We found the class perhaps a bit too long in the intense heat. It was 37 degrees and an hour and half already without a water break, It would be a good idea to offer a 15 drink and toilet break in between the class.
All the staff were super friendly and we had such a lovely experience.

Really fun activity. You learn how to make bowls and cups from clay, and get to take a couple pieces home with you. Definitely recommend.

You have enough time to become a master of ceramics!!
Fun experience!!
They give you the best piece of art you make!!

This was a great class. Pauline was an excellent instructor. She had the perfect balance of letting us try on our own and offering help when we struggled. The pottery wheel is harder than it looks and Pauline was extremely patient and kind.
We are grateful that they ran the class with just the 2 of us instead of cancelling and benefited from the private class.

This is a fun class where you can experience making clay bowls the traditional way. The instructors start with a demo which looks easy but once you start it can actually be quite tricky. Luckily, each instructor works with at most 2 people and they help you as needed so everyone ends up with something that looks wonderful. The school employs deaf people who communicate via miming. There are also posters detailing each step and another guide who you can ask questions if needed so there was never any issues. This class left me with a lot of respect for the artisans who create things with clay.

Great fun! Our teacher was so patient and fun to work with! I recommend this tour! It’s appropriate for families and adults, and they are very accommodating about delivery to hotel.

I really enjoyed the pottery class, the staff were great and the girl who taught me was excellent. Although my bowl didn't make it in the fire (haha), I was able to choose another bow from their shop, which was obviously a lot better than mine! Would highly recommend this class.

Definitely need hands like Theim! She was an amazing teacher using only her hands and smile. I would highly recommend try your hand at the wheel...even when you struggle, they help you right along with creating perfect pieces.

Attended this pottery lesson conducted by experienced orally impaired teachers who are skilful, friendly and always ready to help. Beautiful experience!

I've always wanted to try my hand at pottery making. Why not do it in Cambodia under the tutelage of an expert artist? Don't let the movie Ghost fool you it is harder than you think. Haha! In any event, the class was great fun! Worth the money.

This tour was an amazing way to do something unusual while briefly passing through Siem Reap. Our instructor was hearing impaired but really helped us complete at least 4 pieces and he was very skilled in fixing our attempt at turning a bowl on the wheel. The nice thing about this tour is that our pieces were fired, glazed and delivered the next day to our hotel. I would recommend this tour to folks that need a change from the usual tours of sightseeing. The organization that runs this Pottery Class is comprised of very personable people that lend a nice insight to the culture and the warmth of the Cambodian locals. This tour sends a tuk tuk to pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. One suggestion wear clothes that you won't mind getting dirty, because it can get quite messy, especially if you haven't done any sort of clay making.

My husband and I were picked up from our hotel at 0945 by tuk tuk and taken to our pottery class which started at 1000. The class started with a brief introduction and a demonstration of how to make a bowl - nine steps in total. After this we were given a very experienced helper who sat opposite us and helped us make five different items ranging from cups, bowls, plates and vases. It sounds daunting put as you are given a person to help then the task is so much easier. The things you forget to do like putting water on your clay or not turning the wheel quick enough are always remedied for you. You get to make five items and you get to keep one as part of the cost for doing it and if you want to keep any more they cost 5 each which is a bargain. This whole experience is made more extraordinary as all the helpers are deaf which means they cannot speak to you and instead use their expertise to assist you in the turning of your clay. We had never touched clay never mind turned it on a potters wheel, this is a great thing to do and when you see a lump of clay turned into something you do get a great sense of achievement. This pottery class is a must if you are visiting Siem Reap, the people involved are lovely and you will have a great time.

Good late afternoon outing. Fun for the family. Get to take 3-4 tries to make something worth firing and glazing. If you are hopeless like me, they step in and guide you so you having something that resembles a cup or bowl or plate. Pick up next day.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! If you get the chance, please go!

Good fun for the whole family. My daughter still talks about it months later as one of the favorite things she has done. It is a little hard to communicate with the instructors, but we made it work.

This was a great experience! It is part of Cambodia's life and it was great to be able to learn. Sadly I couldn't take my piece home with me as I left next day early in the morning. It is an must have experience!
JENNYFOEI_L, Mar 2017
It was a nice experience for first time behind the pottery wheels. It was interesting to know that this place used 'unable to speak' labour to train us. They were experts, but they couldn't speak, and only used body languages. They helped us almost fully to make the potteries, which made us only have little time chance to do it ourselves. At end we could engrave our art on the pieces we liked and have them burn and deliver to our hotel next day. The service was good, but we were a bit disappointed that 1 of our pieces were not as how it was. It was cut off at bottom and there was a note saying sorry. They gave us another nice cup to make up to us. We found it pity for that piece, since that was a piece we chose for each other, because we were celebrating our 1000th days together in Cambodia. The packaging of delivery were all nice and good. We transported safely back to Hong Kong and I am using their gifted mug now.
