An amazing day visiting the ancient temples of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and other nearby temples. Our guide Leap had an absolutely brilliant knowledge of the history of the temples and Khmer culture. He, along with our driver, Mr Art, made our day an extremely memorable one and I would recommend this tour to anyone seeking a similar experience.

Sara’s vast knowledge of Khmer history brought the ancient temples to life, sharing intricate details about the Hindu-to-Buddhist transitions and royal legacies that we wouldn’t have grasped otherwise. My exploration of Angkor Wat and other temples in the Angkor complex was amazing. Even though I was here in 2017, this Viator tour guide and our driver made it even better. The guide (Leap) was an encyclopedia of facts and dates. He was able to explain in detail the complex pictograms lining temple walls tgat describe ancient battles and other historical events. I highly recommend him if you can arrange a future visit.

Very happy with this private tour that my wife and I were on. We were picked up from our local Siem Reap hotel. The guide was Leap and the driver Mr. Ree. Both were excellent. We visited all the highlight sites and temples, including Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom including Bayon temple and other locations. Leap provided excellent history, background and explained each site and location. So much more enriching and we gained an understanding of each temple location, carvings, reliefs, and statues much more having a guide explain the story and background of each. We learned so much more going with a guide than on our own, and it was great having the flexibility and attention of a private tour. Leap took our picture at all best spots, we got many great pictures, and he was very friendly. We felt safe and well cared for. They provided us water throughout the day to keep us hydrated. Also took us to a nice lunch spot (cost not included) which had many local delicious options as well as some simple western options like sandwiches and french fries for kids or less adventurous. All in all I was very pleased we took this tour and we saw all the highlights in one day. If you're in Siem Reap and only have one day, this is the best way to see all the temple highlights, understand everything you're looking at, and get great pictures.

Not a lot to actually see or do. We learned about the killing fields in Phnom Penh which was way more informative and indepth. The war museum is simply some old rusted out relics. Not a lot of explanation or descriptions. The artisans was informative, but seemed designed to just sell expensive products to tourists.

What an amazing tour from the moment I was picked up to when I was dropped off. I learned so much history saw some amazing views. Leap and Thoun were great. Couldn’t have asked for a better duo as a guide and driver. If you would like the highlights of Siem Reap in a short amount of time I highly recommend this tour!!

Great tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable about Angkor Wat temples. Having a private tour was the best way to do this avoiding crowds of people. We got to see so much in the full day tour. Around 8 or so of the temples in the area. Great experience.

We booked this tour on Viator including all highlights from Angkor Wat and other temples around. On top of the booking, you need to buy the day ticket for Angkor temples and your lunch but prices were ok for us. Our guide Rain came to pick up us on time at 7:50 in the morning at our hotel lobby as expected. We travelled in a nice car with air conditioning and had cold water bottles the whole day. Our guide was professional with over 32 years of experience!, friendly, knowledgeable and gave us all the time we needed at each temple. Besides he took great pictures of us. We also had a good lunch too. Afterwards we visited a shop where you can buy hand-crafted souvenirs, but both guide and seller were nice with us. Finally our tour was amazing and Rain gave us many facts about the history, temples, movies filmed there and about the people in Cambodgia. Driver was also professional and offered us fresh towels when returning to the car after visiting a temple. Therefore we highly recommend this tour and thank you Rain!

The Angkor Wat complex is a breathtakingly beautiful site, an absolute “must see” for any fellow travelers. Our guide, Mr. Sara, was perfect with explaining things from the past as well as present day Cambodian life.

Great tour with Mr Sara. My husband was not well so after Angkor Wat we took him back to our hotel and continued the tour. Mr Sara was very friendly, full of information and understanding of our situation. Men can wear shorts. Women can wear a wrap with sleeveless top and no one harasses you about your attire. Must cover your knees with either a skirt or pants, however. Wear sneakers. Uneven ground, many steps and some dirt or grassy paths. Dress for comfort and practicality. It’s hot, even in December. Wear a hat, too. A few monkeys, but not enough to drive you crazy. Just shoo them away.

Rain was a fantastic tour guide! He took us to all the major sites around Angkor Wat, snapped beautiful pics for us, and was very knowledgeable about Cambodian history. We had considered using a tuck tuck, but decided on a van, which proved to be a much more comfortable option in the high heat and humidity. We also appreciated that Rain provided us cold water and towels throughout the day. We would definitely recommend!

This trip was fantastic. Tour guide Mr Sara and driver Mr Ry were excellent. There was just myself and my husband and Mr Sara gave us ideas as to what to see, showed us round each one and gave us the stories and histories of these beautiful temples, all in excellent English. Very nice as we had all his knowledge and expertise just to ourselves. Mr Ry’s car was lovely, clean, air-conditioned, chilled water and cold towels available after every stop. This could not have been a better tour and I highly recommend you ask for Mr Sara and Mr Ry when you book.

A good trip overall seeing some of the main highlightsl (known as the small circuit) as a private solo tour with car and driver. Both were friendly and helpful. You could book the same package locally when you arrive (from the "tour" stands at 60% of the price).

We booked the private outing. The trip is well structured, with stops at the most important temples, flexibility in stopping to rest, etc. Everything was as described, car, water, temples seen. The guide took many photos of us and was kind and helpful.
The only downside is that it was really difficult to understand the guide, as its pronunciation in English is so strong that it makes it difficult to understand.
Also, the explanation should be more compelling. A little more training would suffice.
