What To Expect

Begin your excursion to White Island & Ras Muhammed with hotel pickup and transport by air-conditioned vehicle to the dock, where you’ll board for the cruise out to the Red Sea reefs.

Drop anchor at prime snorkeling spots—the number of stops to dive can vary—to admire colorful fish, turtles, and coral with the assistance of your snorkeling master. Snorkeling gear is available on board to rent or you can bring your own.

Break up your snorkeling with a stop on the sandy beaches of White Island to sunbathe and take in the views that stretch from Africa to Asia. Enjoy lunch and soft drinks on board before the return cruise to port and transfer back to your hotel.

The picture depicted is nothing like the truth, the 'Island ' has 60/70 boats around it and you swim to the Island and stand with 200/300 people for a few minutes, complete waste of time. The 2 snorkeling stops were good.

Go if you want a very long 8-hour day on the water, not for the fish

The boat ride out to the snorkeling area is perhaps 90 minutes, which is a really long time, and 90 minutes back (plus travel between sites). When you get there, all the boats are moored together around a small spot where there are fish. I'd say this boat tour is really more catering to people wanting the learning first-time shallow diving experience, and snorkelers are just along for the paid ride. Snorkelers get in the water but have to stay with a snorkel master so that you don't get lost and then can't find your own boat again. And the sea was rough! The snorkel master had a float ring that a bunch of people hung onto, so just imagine all the flailing arms and legs. I finally let go and swam free, keeping an eye on them. Meanwhile, the boat's main efforts were on the divers, who were all brand new, as well, and needed tons of assistance. Then we went to site #2 and site #3, and it really kept getting worse. Don't sign up because you want to see spectacular fish.....there were a few, but you'd need to know how to snorkel already and feel very safe in this rough water to see them. I have snorkeling experience so I saw stuff, but I'm not sure of the other few snorkelers. Go on this trip if you want a really, really long day out on the water with very loud music, don't go for viewing the fish. The scenery is pretty.

The boat is quite old and needs repairing inside. Quite small also comparing to other fancy boats there. At first there was a long waiting time before they took off to sea. More than 2 hours. The crew smoked non-stoped. :( And stop to White Island was very short 30minutes. But they took where promised so...

Amazing day with an amazing team! Ibrahim and all the crew were soooo nice and professional! We didn’t think we would be spending such a beautiful day but it was actually the best decision we took! The boat is very clean and spacious, not too crowded, lunch was delicious. But most of all, the visit of Ras Mohammed and White Island was a dream! Thank you for the best excursion ever!

It was a nice day, the company and food were nice. White Island very crowded and not worthy, about 20 boats around the little “island” and 100 people on it. Ras Mohammed was nice, but not so different from the reef in front of the hotel where I was staying. Corals mostly white. I reported to the crew that something bit me while swimming and they said it was impossible. That evening I had bather rash all over my arms and one leg. The bus driver was very kind, but it took about 1h to collect all the passengers from their hotels.

We're trying our best to negotiate all possible way so we can offer a better experience for our guests. 2- Regarding the swimming on your own prevention it's due to the safety reasons, it used to be free over the last few years but with some repeated accident on the shores of the Red Sea, it had to be set restriction which all centres must follow. This trip was supposed to include a snorkeling stop, the white island and Ras Mohammed. We never made it to RA’s Mohammed. Instead we stopped at a fairly small coral reef where we were originally told we would stop for 40 minutes. Then the operator tried to force as many people as possible to try scuba diving (for an additional price) and we wound up staying at the reef for two hours. We got to the White Island about 20 minutes before high tide obliterated it. I do not recommend this trip unless you truly just want to chill out for 8 hours. But it’s really not what it’s advertised to be.

Cheap and overcrowded tour

No covid measures in place - picked up 45 mins late by a rude unapologetic non English speaking driver who crammed 16 people in to a 14 seater poorly air conditioned bus - hearses like cattle at the jetty with hundreds of people doing the same - White Island was very small and overcrowded with so many boats it was like an over crowded bus station - the divers and men on board for our safety were great though and happy to help - the snorkelling and diving stops in less crowded spots were however great

The trip is really nice. But organization of the process! In the bus transfer to the Port were too much people. Why you couldn't mention that tourists especially with babies will have some luggage? So it will be no chance to "pack" inside more people. Also lunch on the boat was so poor. Nevertheless team was great and coral is wonderful.

This is a around 9 hours trip stopping for 1 diving and for the white island 2nd stop.Make sure to have water proof phone bags or camera as there are around 50 m of swimming to reach the island.
