Nothing positive to say other than the coral and fish are wonderful. This excursion is much the same as the others I experienced in Egypt- low quality and designed as an opportunity to upsell. Intrusive photography and high pressure selling throughout and extra charge for snorkelling equipment. How can this be described as an snorkelling trip when necessary equipment isn’t included in the price Viator?Also, prepare to be treated like cattle during the transfers.

Poor Service, Wouldn’t Do It Again

We booked snorkeling, but nobody showed us anything – we were just left alone, even though we explained it was our first time. There was also the option for diving, which makes them more money, and I think that’s why they focused more on those people. For the service, Viator gets one star from me, but honestly everything else was very exhausting. I wouldn’t do it again.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We booked snorkeling, but no one guided or assisted us, even after we explained that it was our first time. It was clear that the staff focused more on the diving participants, likely because it brings in more revenue, which negatively affected the quality of service we received. For that reason, I would give Viator only one star. The overall experience was exhausting and not enjoyable, and honestly, I wouldn’t do it again.

This trip was absolutely amazing! The boat was clean and comfortable, the crew was very professional, and the snorkeling at Ras Mohamed and White Island was breathtaking. The water was crystal clear, full of colorful fish and coral reefs, and the stops were perfectly organized. Everything ran smoothly from pick-up to drop-off. FTS Travels made the whole day stress-free and enjoyable, and the team really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. The outward pickup was the only thing well managed, once you arrived at the port, open up sky! The boat was supposed to leave around 9, we left at 10 an hour late remaining the only boat still at the port. Organization of the bad excursion not to mention the behavior of the instructor present on the boat (HABIBA BOAT 1) The excursion included three stages, an hour and a half to get to the first stage, in which we spent THREE hours, there was only one diving instructor and the dive (for a fee) lasted 40 minutes per person, thank God not everyone did it, otherwise we were still there. Second stage of snorkeling, 10 meters ahead of the first one hour duration. Lunch served at 15:00 (all other boats had served lunch at least an hour before). Third stage white island, not even the time to get off that we had to climb up. Needless to say, the time was handled very badly! Not to mention the return transfer, we drove halfway in a taxi, they then let us get off in the middle of the road to change cars. In the last two years we have made every possible excursion imaginable, we have always booked from get your guide, this is the first time we book with VIATOR and also THE LAST.
