Jimmy was an outstanding tour guide. Before taking off, he assessed our hiking skill and adjusted the elevation and distance accordingly. The pace of the hike was perfect and was interspersed with stories about Korean history and culture. At the summit we enjoyed a light lunch of kimbap , ramen, and fresh pears. We had a gorgeous day hiking with a friendly tour guide. I would highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommended. It was good to get out of the bustle of the city for a day. This is a small employee owned company so you get excellent personal service. Kim our guide was able to tailor the trip to our needs. We are regular hikers at home but due to an injury we did not come with kit and did not want the full summit climb. Kim is very experienced and knew all the park routes so took us an ‘easy’ route on a lower peak mostly alongside mountain streams. It’s still quite steep in places so would recommend sturdy shoes and some hiking experience. Beautiful views of Seoul in the distance and a visit to a Buddhist temple were well worth it. Also talking to Kim about Korean culture, history and politics was a highlight of our trip.

We had a great hike on Bukhansan. . Kevin our guide was very nice and obliged us by taking us to Begundae Peak when the original plan was to go to a lower point. Kevin walked at a good pace but made sure we could keep up and took breaks on the way up. We all like a challenge and I found the hike not quite as difficult as I had imagined. (Although it was very hard work especially in the heat). Kevin provided water and lovely Gimbap when we reached the peak. He told us what he could about the mountain and answered our questions about SK. He was very patient and kind and was a lovely guide to have. For info: we all wore trainers. Hiking boots would have been even better but trainers were ok although there are lots of loose stones and some parts can be a bit slippery. I used a stick that I found along the way. There are lots!

Our guide Kim was very good and talkative so we never got bored. The climb up was quite challenging but well worth it. The views were amazing and we were exhausted by the time we were done! Highly recommended for those that can handle it.

Guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. She took us anywhere we wanted to go on the hike. She also made us a very tasty lunch and kept us involved the entire time. I've already recommended this hike to several friends.

We started by canceling this tour, but before we get to that part let’s start by saying that we had only arrived in Korea a few hours earlier after our flight was delayed and our luggage missed the connection. So going on a 8:00 am hike felt impossible. Hence, why we tried to cancel. But our guide waited for us. Encouraged us and coaxed us into going. It was really the best way to start out time in earnest in Seoul. The hike was tough but good, the fresh mountain air, the stillness and the interesting fun commentary from Kim Chan So (our guide) completely turned around my attitude. At to he end of the hike we capped it off with an amazing meal. Nothing could’ve been better. Thank you so so much.

Our guide Chansoo has decades of hiking experience and was patient and attentive to our abilities and needs. We are physically active but had little to no hiking experience, so he started us off with an easier route. When he saw that we were comfortable he pushed us to cover greater distances and brought us to Bibong peak. He also kindly brought more food for lunch in case we needed it, and was really knowledgeable about Korea and Bukhansan. Definitely recommend his services whether for Bukhansan or around Korea in general!!

we have just semi completed this course,Perhaps it was something not expected in the overrated reviews by some many of the bookings online. Let me clarify. There were 5 of us . 2 in 40s 2s in 15 and one in70s . All able human . It was written tailor to our ability and according to our pace, The only thing is the guide's ability to pick us guide us to a certain point and drop us. I do not wish to complain by rather clarify the points raised in the brochure. There was no mention of intermediate level required .That was raised by him once we met that it was supposed to be the case, He would climb and not wait too long for the whole group.It was obvious almost half hour through the hike. I was it was made clear to anyone who wish to participate. If u r slow, don't go even if u can make the effort. If u r a beginner keep your money for another activity( because u will be too slow). Also if u think you wanted another extra hour for the hike even to pay him don't bother, don;t think there would be any compromise because there is a time limit for this tour, he did not offer more or even ask or explain he could charge if we needed more. So eventually we climb half the mountain and down. i cannot say we see it. Perhaps it only happens in post card, The best option, get a driver , get a google translator, go yourself with hiking sticks and take your time. That would be better and cheaper. In the end, only one made it, Pls do a favour and state price for extra time , else do not say it would be tailor to ability,.It would really seem more like a disappointed trip for any tourist ,

You totally agreed with my suggestion which is "If you walk not well", "I can decide any of your member to go down(Drop)".

I did all for your family safety and still no regret about my decision.

You brought 76 years old Mom and your wife with your 2 daughters(14 and 15)
Your mom was very slow and can't walk well so I asked you to bring her down.
and Your 15 years old daughter got dizzy so I asked your wife to bring her down.

You did not any mention about my decision at that time because you agreed my asking..!!
Your 14 years old daughter only made the peak because this hiking tour was planned for her at the beginning.. Right??
She will go to Vietnam Sapa Hiking in her school later so she need practice for a hiking before she goes to Sapa. that is why you join this tour and I asked you "what if other member can not walk well?" You said "It will be fine" and You said You will follow my opinion.
Now you write review like that?? I never understand the reason.
As your mentioning, If I wait all of your family members include your 76 years old mom, We may have rode by helicopter(Korea 911 Rescue Team)
I still think about it, but then I made a really right decision at that time.
As once a good soldier and now capable Mt expert. Even any mountain hiker in Korea would have made the same decision.
If I meet same person like you later, I will do same what I did to you.

Chance was our guide to Bukhansan, and he was phenomenal. Bukhansan is an absolute gem and worth checking out if you are an outdoorsy person. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the trail, Korea's history, and the city in general. I learned so much about Korean politics, economics and nature. The experience was both physically and intellectually stimulating. Thanks again for the awesome experience Chance!

This was stunning! My guide was fantastic and made sure to check which level of hike I would prefer (I chose mid level). It was very challenging and also the most rewarding. The lunch was delicious too 👏🏼
