We had such a great time on our food tour with Virginia. She was friendly, fun, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. She took us around to try so much delicious food, and it was such a lovely way to explore. Definitely recommend!

We met at a big food market with many traditional Korean foods. Our guide Celine explained local customs, history of some of the foods, food’s place in the traditional feasts or meals and presented us an array of different food to try at different stalls. It was great!

Vibrant market with multiple stalls. Very busy but not much walking. Tour guide knowledgeable and helped a lot

My son and I had a wonderful food tour at Gwangjang market. Our tour guide, Celine, was excellent! She took us to the best stalls and was so knowledgeable about the food, culture and history of the market. We tried so many delicious Korean dishes and were extremely full before the end of the tour!

The meet up was clear and easy. My guide was friendly and very helpful. The food i was served was very plentiful and delicious. She took me to many different stalls and ended with yummy desserts. I would recommend this tour.

The tour did not meet the criteria offered in the itinerary. Very expensive for just over an hour. Not offered all the tastings. No background history given about the market.

We'd just like to clarify a few points for future travelers. The experience includes a guided walk with a local host as well as 7+ food and drink tastings, all of which were offered during the tour. At the beginning of the experience, our guide also shared the history and background of the market before starting the tastings.
We understand that value is subjective, but we strive to provide an authentic, small-group experience that combines local insights with generous tastings. We appreciate your visit and your feedback, as it helps us continue improving.
So much fun! Virginia was amazing as a guide and was able to give so much detail in the food we were provided. Some of the spots she wanted to have us try were closed due to the holiday but she pivoted quickly and made it a memorable experience! If you’re lucky enough to get her, you’ll be happy you took this tour.

Great tour of all the essential local street food started and the history behind the place and food. Come hungry for food and knowledge. Host was friendly and knowledgeable and made navigating the experience fun and easy. Highly recommend touring with Zenobia

This tour is a fabulous way to taste several types of traditional Korean food in a fun setting. Be aware - yhe market is crowded with tourists and Koreans (all vying for bench seats at one of the food stalls), but that adds to the high energy atmosphere. I appreciated that the tour was 1 stop and not an off-and-on bus experience. Virginia, our guide, was fantastic - knowledgeable about Korea (and Japan; she has a Masters in Asian Studies) and comes from the heel of Italy. She was very kind and patient with us and the stall owners, who can get feisty if you want to order a dish to share. Great way to experience the market!
