We were learning how to ride scooters in preparation for a long trip. They guys communicated clearly, were supportive and fun to learn from. I felt confident in my ability to ride in Bali by the end of the lesson.

I found this company through web search and contacted them through Instagram to ask if they have services in Ubud. They inform me that they are based in Canggu but can come to Ubud. I book two lesson and the first lesson was ok. The second time the course instructor could not find roads in Ubud with less traffic because he did not know the roads in Ubud very well so we finished an hour early and he suggested I go to Canggu for the remainder one hour of the lesson. Although the company had advertised that they were able to provide lesson in Ubud I gave the instructor benefit of the doubt considering it is a small business and traveled to Canggu on my personal expense. It was 90-120 minutes each way and almost 200,000 total for transportation. When I arrive there the instructor came half an hour late from my schedule time (for a one hour lesson). I told him I couldn’t stay past my schedule time because I had an appointment in Ubud and he agreed that they can give me partial refund. I contacted the company representative that arranged my lesson and requested a refund for one class because I wasted half day and spent almost 200000 traveling to Canggu and back. They refused and said I only get refund 250000 idr which isn’t even half of the $50 I pay for the class. Their reasoning was that by using viator they only profit 500000 idr and that the instructor did not know I only had one hour for the lesson (even though the lesson was supposed to be one hour long?). I was quite bothered by this but agreed to the 250000 refund. Needless to say I did not even get that and the company did not honor their word. When it came to delivering the money they initially said that they will have the instructor come to Ubud to deliver the money. Then they asked if they can transfer the money to my bank which was not possible because I have a federal bank in America. Then they explained to me that they have a gojek service in Indonesia that they can send the money with as a package. They conveniently left out the part that they expect me to pay for the service so I agreed. The course instructor messaged me the day I was supposed to get the package with the amount I need to pay him for the service. I told him it doesn’t make sense for me to pay for the service when the reason for my refund is because he came very late to my session. He said it is my responsibility to pay for the service which I found completely insulting and disrespectful after everything they put me through. When I refused he made other ridiculous suggestions of how I can get my refund such as me traveling to his office in Canggu from Ubud on my own dime or asking reservation staff for their bank account info so he can transfer the money to them and they can pay me that amount in cash. When I told him it was not possible to do this he would not give me the 250000 by paying for gojek service himself. As evident, this company does not at all respect their customers time and money and in some instances is even taking advantage of tourists naivety. Please note I have attached screenshots for proof of my narrative because I would not put it below them to deny that they behaved this way. I would sincerely advise others not to use this company to take lessons. There are several companies in Bali that offer scooter lessons and it is almost impossible for them to have less integrity than this company.

no you you lied, we try to give you back your money, you have postponed the lesson couple times, on 1st sept you change the date to 3rd sept. while we can easily decline and give you back your money we decided to do it anyway and on the 5th sept you suddenly said that you are not feeling well and want to postponed it again while our team has arrived at your place in ubud.. we try to give you back your money with 2 options, but you said you can't.. we willing to give you back your money with paypal you said you don't have paypal.. its you!! not us we have gave you our best service, but you just act like that and said bad things about us

Raffi was amazing and patient. Went through a quiet road and ended up in a busier road with Raffi at the back ensuring that I was calm. Dio was an amazing teacher! I wish he had been my instructor when I was first learning to drive a car. He’s very calm and patient. And he does a good job of breaking down the information into easy to understand steps. The area where you practice is also very beautiful, beautiful ocean views and calm quiet rural roads. Would definitely recommend this lesson to other travelers who want to try riding a scooter.
