We really enjoyed the half day! Our guide was so flexible & willing to stop at other places along the way in addition to what was planned. We didn’t take him up on it as we needed to be back for our flight home. But it was nice to know we had the option.

Ketut Ajus was a fabulous tour guide. The stops did not match the listing on Viator (Batuan temple instead of the Elephant Cave) but it was still an incredible time. We don’t like long tour days so this was the perfect amount of stops and a nice variety. Ketut was so friendly, explained the architecture and culture, and even recommended and drove us to the most amazing spot for lunch- the food there was so delicious and the views were breathtaking. He was so helpful, the car was spotless, he offered to take our photos multiple times, and he even brought us water bottles at a stop. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a phenomenal time- would absolutely love to have Ketut as a tour guide again in the future.

Bali Wira Tours was great. Wira is very knowledgeable of Balinese culture and experiences. We wanted a private tour with English speaking driver. Wira was perfect. Very patient. Responded to any and all questions with thoughtful and well articulated answers. We asked about everything from the President of Indonesia, to how rice was farmed. He handled with thoughtful answers.
It’s a beautiful country and he helped us to see it through his eyes. He even shared personal and sometimes humorous stories about his family and tours he has conducted or travel through Bali.

We did the half day bali tour with guide Ketut Ajus. He showed us wonderfull and beautyfull places, an organic Luwak coffee farm, where we were able to try different spices, tea and coffees and also the special Luwak coffee, the impressive Elephant cave Temple, a rice terrasse and a waterfall.
Ketut explained us everything in a very interesting and exciting way, he speaks perfect english and he also told us many things about the balinese religion and way of live.
We travel a lot, we had many tours with many guides in different countries.
Ketut belongs to the best! Thanks to him for this grate tour.
We also want to mention our safe driver!

I read the reviews before booking this experience and was hoping that Ketut Ajus be assigned as our guide. He did not disappoint. He’s a good driver weaving in and out of the busy traffic and narrow roads and he had depth of knowledge to give us a background and history lesson to all the places we visited. All the places we visited are so beautiful. There are not that many people, so we could enjoy them without a crowd. He also recommended us other good places to eat, visit and buy art. Overall, 5 star experience and service.

We had a wonderful day sights seeing with Wira. He picked us up at our hotel in South Kuta. We visited the Elephant Cave Temple, the Batik production plant and shop and saw the demonstration of Batik printing and painting. Then we went to the rice field, and the Wood Carving gallery to find a souvenir for our son. We went to the coffee tea plantation and shop. The best tea and coffee we tasted in the world! The waterfall was the highlight of the trip. It was beautiful. We strongly recommend this tour. It was a great way to see some beautiful sights in Bali when we only had one day. At the end of the tour Wira was so kind to drop us off at the harbor to board our ship.

Alu was a friendly and knowledgeable guide for this half day tour arriving on time and making sure I was OK thought out the day. Oh and water is provided and you have the option to stop for lunch.

We began at the Rice terrace, a stunning, World Heritage site surrounded by lush jungle. Our guide,Suas knew the perfect time to go, so we had the place almost to ourselves. Next, we visited the Elephant Cave, where Suas, was incredibly insightful, sharing stories about Hindu gods and Balinese philosophy that transformed our sightseeing into a deep learning experience. He then guided us to waterfalls which was breathtaking and finished up with coffee plantation!
The pace was relaxed, the car was luxurious, and Suas’s passion for his culture was infectious. This tour is ideal for family, couples or solo travelers seeking a more contemplative and visually stunning experience.

Need to go early or in the afternoon, traffic horrendous so miss some of the sites in short time. Ubud crazy congested. Private tour guide/driver very good. Need to decide if want sights or Obud centre market, palace etc. Rice terrace worth seeing.

Nice tour of the south Bali area. Loved the water falls, temple and rice terrace that were all tucked into the city landscape. Ketut Ajus was our guide, He did an outstanding job of explaining the significance of each stop and how the Bali culture is connected. He even took us to a fantastic coffee plantation for a sample of local brew. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful trip with our guide Wira. On the rice terrace I took opportunity to go on swing which was fun, there is also a zip line or random bike (zip line) should you prefer. The temple visit was good and we took the blessing (leave a gratuity)

There was some confusion about which hotel we were in but it was sorted out quickly. Our driver/guide Jun was excellent! We requested a couple of changes to the itinerary and he made them work.

Our driver Ese was an excellent driver and full of information. We had great rapport with him. We only had a half day to catch some sights and he helped us choose. It was Rice terrace fields, the largest temple in Bali and we wanted to go to the Batik showroom but ran out of time. He took great pictures of us ! Last we had to get a new charger and he took us to the store and helped interpret what I needed.

If you are looking for a half day highlight of Bali Ubud this is your tour ! Having a great guide/driver makes the trip ‘ Ketut Ajus’ was our perfect guide very knowledgeable and allowing us to have some free time to take in each of the 3 visits on the tour! Highlights the Elephant cave & Tegalalang rice terrace - perfect photo opportunities, rain at the waterfall but still a good view!

Wira was our guide and was extremely helpful, explaining so much about the Balinese culture and people. We came with my elderly mother and Wira did everyyhing to make her comfortable. He is also an extreskillful driver. Unfortunately the traffic in the south of Bali is horrific which meant we had very little to time to visit all the sites described in the tour. As a result we had to skip the waterfall. I suggest doing this as a full day tour if you want time to enjoy the sites instead of spending most of your time in s car.

The overall experience was great!
We had three stops: The elephant temple with stunning tropical forest sitting behind; a beautiful natural waterfall, part of a local community and the Tegalalang ric eterrace which was absolutely breathtaking; an unique scenery with lush green in the heart of Ubud.
The accompanying information about Bali, its history and culture and religion, the region Ubud (provided by my guide Ketut) really rounded up the tour! Whilst touring in the morning, the locations were not over-crowded and weather was good (not too hot, a bit cloudy which added a bit of a mystic touch) - highly recommend this tour!
