Gorgeous viewpoints we would not have found on our own. Hugo's enthusiasm and knowledge made the trip even more enjoyable. Lunch was fantastic. Tour was not rushed, we were able to choose the route a couple of times.
This was a great jeep tour. Loads of stops at beauty spots and the well know attractions. We also went off the beaten track and our guide Rui was very friendly and informative.
It was a very nice experience! Hugo, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very nice. I definitely recommend this tour.
Excellent! Tour guide make the experience very personalized based on things we had already seen on the island.
When the weather was inauspicious our guide had to improvise. That’s what happened and one of the advantages of engaging a professional tour guide. Sure we got the 4X4 off roading in. Some of the scenic vistas were obfuscated. So dude found workarounds. 👍
We saw many beautiful and interesting places. We had an extremely gentle guide who was an excellent driver. He answered all our questions and we got to know more about the Island and its habitants.

Phillip is the best. He definitely deserves a raise for how awesome he is. Such a wonderful tour! If your in São Miguel definitely book this tour. Not only will you get to explore a different area of the island but experience a tour guide who is an extraordinaire that knows history, is passionate about what he does, and actually cares about you as the guest. I was also fortunate to have Rodrigo along that was in training to be a guide in the future and he added his own touch to the tour which I can imagine his tours just as magical as Phillips. Whoever you have as a guide will make your trip to the Azores extra special. I hope in the future to cross paths with my tour guide again maybe even a redo of the last tour since it was so epic. If you made it this far don’t question and book the tour. I promise you it will be way worth it. (:
Awesome trip around the island! Really good get to know the island tour before another tour or going out on your own. Super friendly guide, well maintained vehicle, and even got to squeeze in a early morning hike.
What a super day, this trip was easily the best day of our vacation. If we'd had more time we would have booked another trip with this company. Our tour guide, Joana, was super. She made the trip, so knowledgeable and lots of fun. We highly recommend their tours. Thanks!!
Our guide for the day was Hugo. He was very knowledgeable, intelligent, and informative. It was obvious he has a passion for his job. It was a long day however he adjusted the itenary to take us to places we hadn't seen on the other tours we went on since the tours as set up have some overlap and he made sure we were satisfied. Although the terrain we visited is very rugged, it was also very beautiful. Terrific job Hugo!
