We did this excursion with our family of 5, children ages 9, 11 and 13. We had an absolutely amazing week in Lisbon and Azores but this trip was the highlight of our vacation and what the kids speak most about. From repels, to natural waterslides, to jumps we felt safe and well led. The team was incredibly supportive, accommodating, encouraging and patient. There were options if anything felt like too much- my 9 year old has a medium fear of heights (never even liked to be on shoulders) and he rallied to do everything but the last jump. We all had an absolute blast and I very highly recommend this tour. The equipment and gear were comfortable and well maintained. We all wished we could have done it again!

Angela and Eduardo were great guides! They prioritized safety and ensured everyone in the group was having fun. There was a total of 6 of us in the group + the 2 guides. After the hike to the starting point, we did a zip line off the first waterfall. We walked a little down the river and did a slide. The next stop was an option to jump and everyone got the option to jump twice. Last was a rappel down the side of the waterfall. So much fun! I love that the zip line, slide, and jumps helped warm up the group before the rappel. I’ve done waterfall rappelling before and it can be nerve wracking starting off with rappelling down a waterfall but the zip line was a great start!

If you don't have a fear of heights, definitely a good experience and beginner friendly. Our group had ziplining, jump from waterfall (not too tall), fairly short rappelling and a final taller jump. I am not a swimmer but they were still accomodating with a life vest. Honestly I think I would have wanted a bit more but with the halfday timeframe and number of people we had to wait for in our group (8 adults and 5 children) it was difficult.

Professional canyoning tour (basic level except for the last jump) with all necessary equipment and local guides. It took 2.5 hours and was very well organized, loved it!

This was a whole lot of fun! We were also excited and it lived up to the hype! It’s definitely a lot more uphill hiking than it talks about, but it was all pasted well and super fun and absolutely beautiful, and definitely worth it to be able to jump and repel all the way down :-)

Wow wow wow, what an amazing experience. First we were hiking, then we were jumping into cool refreshing water, then we were learning how to repel. Joao and his partner kept us safe, entertained, and feeling like a family the whole time, though we had all just met. The emphasis on safety and taking the important parts seriously was perfectly balanced with the fun, easygoing vibes. If you're considering going canyoning, jump in and take the plunge with these guys. You won't regret it.

Great experience with my mother (67 years old) and my daughter (6 years old). Both were able to do the activities. There was only one jump my daughter could not do because of the height and how far you had to jump out. However, she still jumped just from a lower area. All three generations had a lot of fun and would do it again. Our tour guides were very helpful and informative.

The canyon experience - repelling and jumping into the water was super fun. Both Leonardo and Luciano were very helpful especially for folks on the tour that weren’t as adventurous.
Only thing I would improve is the info about the trip. All equipment is provided but the description said we needed hard sole shoes but then they provide water canyoning shoes. Was just a bit concerned prior as we were in Keen’s and wasn’t sure if that would be okay. Since we wore their shoes, it didn’t matter.

Our tour guides were very easy to find on the day of our adventure. They helped us gear up and made sure everything fit just the way it should. All of our guides were knowledgeable and attentive, they made the excursion feel safe and predictable. At no point did I ever feel pressured to do anything I didn't feel 100% comfortable with--there was always an alternative route if the more adventurous path one felt like too much. They kept the hike to the waterfalls entertaining and explained a lot about the island and the local geography as we ascended. This was a truly memorable experience that I will cherish for life.

Very enjoyable. Even my normally scared 8 year old conquered his fears and was able to rappel himself and cliff jump. My only complaints are the timing was very off. It last an hour longer than listed which made us late to our next tour. I also felt like when we were walking along to the next spot they didn’t pay any attention to us slipping and falling. It felt unsafe at those points.

We had a lot of fun. First into the thicket and then through the wet adventure. We did the tour in April and there were eight of us in a group - no one else far and wide, even other groups. The guides were very funny and trusting. Great experience, also for our children (8&11)

Ich hatte den Canyoning-Trip als Geburtstagsgeschenk für meine Freundin über Viator gebucht, weil über die Seiten der Anbieter direkt für den geplanten Zeitraum keine Plätze frei waren. Die Jungs waren super freundlich, locker und man sah ihnen an, dass sie Spaß an ihrer Arbeit haben. Der Trip an sich war super, es gab eine Zipline, zwei Sprünge und ein Slide. Kombiniert mit der wunderschönen Natur dort kann ich das nur weiterempfehlen! Danke an das Team.
Kleiner Hinweis: Die Bestätigungsmail war ein wenig missverständlich, denn dort wird darauf hingewiesen, man soll festes, für Wasser geeignetes Schuhwerk mitbringen. Das wird gar nicht benötigt, denn man bekommt vor Ort von Socken, Neoprenanzug, Schuhen bis hin zu einem Helm alles gestellt.
