Fabulous tour with Luis and Miguel at Azorean Seascape. Everyone had a great time and we learned a lot about the island. They are passionate about their jobs and treated us all very well.. We had tea and biscuits during the boat ride, and that was enjoyable as well.. We would definitely recommend this trip to anybody looking for a boat ride to get to know the island..
Although the ocean was slightly rough, we had an amazing time!! What an adventure to get to see the island in this way. Felt safe the entire time on board with Miguel and Louis who also provided us with some history of the islands volcanic past. We even stopped in a calm area for local tea and cookies. Highly recommend!!
This was definitely one of the best highlights of our trip! Luis was extremely informative about not only the formations but also history of the island. The captain did such a great job navigating in and out of the caves. It was so neat to be able to go in and around. The warm tea and local cookies were such a great touch also. I would highly recommend this your tour to any of my family and friends coming to the island.
The comfort of the transportation, the knowledge of the guides, the beauty of the coast and caves. Wonderful
The knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide was infectious. They really love their island and captain could drive really well. Absolutely worth it!!!
Amazing experience. Luis and Miguel are very kind, helpful and explain everything. In general is an excellent tour and is worth to do.
Very good guide,Louis and his brother safe and well done!We have seen flying fish and dolphins!Nice boat clean and well maintained!
Luis and Miguel were fantastic. Made sure we were comfortable the entire boat ride. Beautiful caves to see and plenty of info about the island. They even served warm tea and cookies which were amazing. Really enjoyed our tour.
Our guide, Luis, was excellent!
He made us feel safe, provided excellent information, brought us to stunning caves, and even served us tea and cookies during a short rest period.
We saw so much- even flying fish!
We are staying in Ponta Delgada and it’s a 15-20 minute cab ride, about 20 Euros for 2 people. Very easy!
We’ve done a lot of excursions and this is one of a kind when visiting here. Highly recommend!
A great way to learn about the island and see it from the water. The tour guides were fabulous and the caves were incredible. We would highly recommend it!
Guide was very knowledgeable, took the boat inside of caves, knew stories about the caves, asked often whether we had questions, took pictures upon request & was very focussed on safety. Highly recommend.
SMALL BOAT TOUR …. 3 couples.
Thomas was very friendly, informative and accommodating with picture taking. There was no opportunity to swim. Caves are shallow. Geology and overall scenery were beautiful. A great perspective of the north shore.
First, Tomas (the captain/tour guide) is literally the nicest, warmest, most genuine person you will ever meet. It's clear he loves what he does and cares about people. What an awesome day on the water. My wife and I spent 10 days in the Azores and this was our only excursion on the water -- it's a MUST. You'll see some absolutely amazing things on the north coast, where the wind and waves have created an incredible landscape. Pictures will never do it justice. I'm so grateful we were able to see the island from this perspective. Granted, we had a "1 in 100" weather day. The sea was super calm which allowed us to get very close and even inside some of the caves. Last thing...while the wind was light, there were scattered showers in the forecast and, before we left, Tomas was completely honest that we might get wet and that he'd 100% understand if anyone wanted to back out and get a full refund, no questions asked. Seriously, they don't make people like him anymore. Please do yourself a favor and go on this excursion! You won't regret it!
Beautiful tour, got an excellent viewpoint on the island. Tomas was very informative and made safety a priority. We had a great day and recommend it!
This was probably my favourite experience in all of the tours we did on Sao Miguel. The boat operators were professional and engaging, and it was amazing to get off land and see the island from a completely different perspective. When we come back to Sao Miguel I would take this tour again just to see the island from a different viewpoint.
It was an incredible experience that I would recommend to anyone! Awesome tour guide who answered any questions we had.
The cave tour was cancalled due to high waves both sat and sun. Was told money would be refunded since company canceled. The charge for this trip is on my credit card, but the refund is not.
Awesome time all around! We even got to see some dolphins which was a little rare for the time of year. Everyone made sure we were comfortable and safe onboard. Highly recommend for couples and groups! Very cool sightseeing and great tour guides with lots of information.
Our guides were extremely knowledgeable, genuine, and helpful. They have a deep pride and love of the ocean and the island, which made the tour even more magical.
While this is not a whale watching tour, we were lucky enough to be able to see three kinds of dolphins and some fin whales!!
Would recommend 😃
Our guide was friendly and helpful. The coastal scenery from the boat gave a better view of the landscape than many of the scenic view points on land. We liked the small boat experience, and our guide stopped at many interesting sites. Very clean, safe and comfortable. Would highly recommend. Thanks
