Our diver was ready with our name on a sign. He helped with our luggage and got us safely and quickly to our hotel. The van was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend and will use again when we come back!

When I booked my transfer...

When I booked my transfer is said “private transfer”. So to me that means not shared When we got to the port a guy was holding a sign with our name and 2 other names. We waited at least 10-15 min for him to find the other people. By the time he found the last coupe almost everyone had cleared out. Then he takes us to a van with everyone. I told him we had a private shuttle. He said he didn’t know about that and maybe because ferry was late. My husband is 6’5” and was squished in the back. Then to make matters worse he dropped off everyone Else first then us. Which again was why we wanted a private transfer.

Communication needs improvement

I was trying for days before our transfer to contact the company to give our ferry information with no response. They were even called by reception at our previous hotel in order to arrange our transport and they told our receptionist they couldn’t find our reservation. Finally, when we finally arranged when to pick up the driver for some reason would not go inside the port and wait with all the other drivers. We had to walk a distance with our luggage in order to find him in an outside parking lot. All the drivers for every other transfer service were inside making it easy for guests to find them whereas we had to ask multiple workers where to find this meeting location he sent us. Overall we eventually got where we needed to go but the process was a hassle

A cost efficient option

The driver was difficult to find, but an efficient ride to our hotel in Oia once we found him. Unfortunately he dropped us off at the wrong entrance pathway to our hotel, so our reception was looking for us at a different location. Luckily my phone had service to be able to find our hotel, otherwise we would have been lost.

I was able to book less than 24 hours before my pick up and I called to confirm the pick up details. Driver arrived 5 minutes early. One thing to note is that we were coming from Finikia and the driver took us to Fira where we changed vans (to a larger van with other passengers) to go to the port.

A comfortable and pleasant transfer

When we arrived at the Thira port, the driver was already waiting for us. He took us to the bus and helped us put the luggage in the bus. He also helped us to contact the hotel and ask the hotel send someone to the place where we got off to help us carry our luggage. The driver safely sent us to the hotel. The bus is a luxury Benz bus that is spacious and clean and comfortable to sit on. This is a very comfortable and pleasant transfer.
