The instructor delivered the information precisely and clearly. The experience of paddling all the way to the black beach and the caves as well were amazing. The picnic was amazing that included greek style snacks. They have a quote which is “come as a stranger and leave as a friend” that I liked and it is true as we came as strangers and left as friends! Definitely recommend this one!

Very nice people, funny, informative and overall great company to have, they showed us around we went in a cave and had a picnic on white sand beach, where they gave us homemade food. 100/10

The owner was rude and misbehaved with us. We were 4 people half of the group. We lost direction and informed him that we are running 15 minutes behind. We arriving 13 minutes late. He argued with us and made us feel bad. Elliot the guide was fantastic and kayaking was fun but the first interaction with the staff when we arrived left a very bad taste. Will not recommend this kayaking place. We paid a lot of money almost $500 and should not be felt insulted.

Thank you for your review. While we respect every guest’s right to share feedback, we feel it is necessary to clarify the facts surrounding your participation in our tour.
Your group of four was part of an eight-person activity. As clearly stated in our confirmation email — which included detailed arrival instructions and a Google Maps location pin — guests are required to arrive 15 minutes before the start time, with a maximum grace period of 10 minutes. Despite this, your group arrived over 35 minutes late, as confirmed by our digital waiver system (signed 39 minutes after the scheduled start) and base security footage.
You sent multiple messages asking us to wait, which we did — out of courtesy to your family and at the cost of delaying the other guests and our crew of three. You mentioned deciding to travel on your own with ATVs, got lost, and arrived significantly late.
Upon arrival, instead of acknowledging the impact of this delay, you reacted with hostility when our General Manager — a certified sea kayak coach with over 15 years of experience — calmly and respectfully explained the situation and asked your group to prepare quickly. You raised your voice in front of our team and the other guests, showing clear disrespect. You did not offer an apology to anyone for the delay, and your behavior had to be managed by your wife and two adult children, who appeared well aware of your temper.
Despite your conduct, we allowed the tour to continue for the sake of the group. However, it was unanimously agreed among our team afterward that you should not have participated in the tour. This is a shared outdoor experience built on cooperation, respect, and enjoyment — values your behavior did not reflect.
You will, unfortunately, be the one guest we remember most this season — and not for the right reasons.
We’re pleased you enjoyed the kayaking and appreciated Elliot’s guidance. We are proud of our guides and stand fully behind our staff, who work hard to deliver safe, professional, and enjoyable experiences for every guest — and who deserve to be treated with the same respect they give others.

Santorini Sea Kayak is a top notch sea kayak tour company. My husband and myself are experienced sea kayakers and we felt both guides, Nolan and John, did an excellent job in safety, making the adventure fun, and are excellent guides! Also I have to also include Penelope in her excellent communication via email response to email questions and requests. Highly recommend this adventure to beginners and experienced kayakers.

This was such a blast! It was a windy day and they almost had to cancel the tour, but it thankfully the winds weren't too gusty so the trip was kept on and we're super glad it was as it was very fun (and the wind made it so much more fun). John and Nolan were great guides and we loved the relaxed atmosphere with them and our fellow kayakers. We got to see several beaches and a sea cave and they took photos of everyone along the way, so everyone got very fun photos that they could share. Lunch was great too and we enjoyed sandwiches, melon, and pasteli (sesame and honey snacks). They were also super helpful when I lost my GoPro (found it in a few feet of water thankfully) and when one of the other kayakers lost his sunglasses). It was a great tour overall and we honestly could have stayed out there all day kayaking!
We had originally planned on taking the bus from Fira to get to the Red Beach stop, but we had contacted them and they were able to schedule a pickup, which saved us so much time and it was very much appreciated (good prices for the pickup too!). This company is great all around and we can't recommend them enough!

Santorini Sea Kayaks was recommended to us by a couple we met on another tour in Santorini. What an amazing experience it was! We got to see parts of Santorini that you could only see via kayak (caves, ancient secluded beaches, and geological rock formations). Our tour guide, Nolan, has a background in geology and comes from a family of kayak guides, so we knew we were in for the ride of our lives. We stopped for a lovely picnic and snorkeling at one of the little secluded beaches, which was great! Then we saw the most epic sunset we have seen on our whole vacation. Highly recommend if you want to make your Santorini trip complete!

Enjoyed paddling on the Aegean Sea! After purchasing, the booking details reflects 10am-12. The activity is 3.5 hours in duration which is helpful to keep in mind when arranging post-kayaking pickup.

Nolan and the crew were awesome! The water was soo beautiful. The white and red beach were very crowded but they took us to a little private beach for swimming/snorkeling and lunch. The kayaking itself was an easy route, not too long. Very smooth and well run establishment. Highly recommend!

My wife and I can’t thank Santorini Sea Kayak enough for this experience. Our guide, Nolan, was amazing. He provided any help we needed but was also kind enough to give us space to enjoy our time together on the water and especially during the sunset. Wait time was minimal, communication with Penelope prior to the excursion was top notch. The price was reasonable and if we are in Santorini again in the future we will definitely be return customers.

A fantastic trip! Great way to see this part of the coast. Our guide was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and made the whole experience so enjoyable. Lovely picnic on the beach and the sunset was amazing! Highly recommend!

Kayaking was alright. Would have been better if we didn't have to sit on the beach for 45 minutes - long enough to miss the sunset unfortunately. Sandwiches and melon were provided but we had to pay extra for water and photos from the guide's iPhone which was unusual.

So memorable! This was the most amazing experience that we experienced during our trip.
The company arranged for pick up and drop off from our hotel on the first day of our arrival. Nolan was amazing instructor! He was so patient, kind, attentive and went out of his way ti make sure we were safe at all times.
This is one experience you do not want to miss! Do not miss this!!!!
Music was booming as we arrived back to the dock and welcomed us back to shore.
And because we were leaving late and they arranged for our pick up, the gentlemen escorted us to the car to ensure that our driver was there. Overall, could not have asked for anything more!
This is the experience you cannot miss!

We had a wonderful experience. It can be challenging for some people, though.
Because we took the trip in the off-season, it felt like a private tour. If you have a choice, take the evening tour. You can watch the beautiful sunset. Great business and excellent instructors, Nolan and John. Thank you.

Every part of this trip was perfect, both guides were extremely knowledgeable, funny and very clear on instructions especially where certain sections the rocks are on both sides, felt very safe and prepared for anything, the food was also amazing and got to snorkel and look around a bit a white beach.

Highly recommend taking this tour as the best way to see Santorini’s spectacular beaches and views. Our guide was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and skilled. We were lucky to go early in the season and only had one other couple in our group.
