Very poor Hikes and Bites Tour. Don't do this!

One hour late. We were directed to wait at a spot by our hotel(CliffsideHotel) and we were early. Our guide was waiting elsewhere. No communication. We tried and the hotel tried. We were told by the supervisor when we found our guide that we wasted an hour. We would not get compensation. The restaurant was around the corner from our hotel. And our tour was now two hours. We were taken to a tourist place we could have gone to on our own for some tastes of cheese and jam and honey and a few dips. We walked about an hour, and then taken to a wine cellar that was interesting. We were then left in a square where there was another tourist restaurant for souvlaki that we could not eat as it was too soon after our tastes. We had to find our own way back to our hotel. Having said this, Gus our tour guide, was knowledgable and tried. Not a local tour by any means and would never recommend this to anyone no apology has ever been made. Joodi and Ron Pollock

We appreciate all honest feedback; in your case, this is called a "revenge" review and definitely doesn't state the truth! We understand that there were some issues with communication and timing before the tour, and we sincerely apologize for any frustration this may have caused but you know that the only one to blame is you! All, our tours come with the tour description and meeting point which is very clear! Instead of following our instructions, you asked the hotel receptionist who isn't even a local, for directions and of course you ended up at the wrong meeting point! After many calls back and forth to understand where you were, I finally told you to wait where you were as our guide was coming your way as he knows the area and it was easier! You were already yelling that you wanted a refund and when I informed you that I couldn't refund a tour last minute you honestly threatened us with a bad review!! Our team strives to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our guests, and we have been running the specific tour for 5 years now with only 5* reviews! We appreciate your kind words about Gus, our tour guide. We are glad to hear that he was knowledgeable and made an effort to enhance your experience even though you both were in a bad mood! I truly hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a truly exceptional tour experience next time!
