Alex with San Sebastián Trips, was an exceptional tour guide who was well informed and shared his passion for the Basque countryside, traditions and culture. We wandered down the city streets and coastal scapes of Saint Jean de Luz and Biarritz as well as some other Basque countryside towns as Alex shared his knowledge and experiences. The pace of our tour was based on what we wanted to see, what we wanted to eat and on Alex’s recommendations. We were very happy with this tour and highly recommend Alex.

Our guide Alex was patient courteous and informative. The two towns prior were sweet charming seaside hidden gems as far as travel was in June could be. The church were Louis the 14th was married was breath taking. Biarritz was wealth, stunning sand stone formations, great shopping. Good restaurants. Must see highlight as Part of our stay in San Sebastian.😊

Alek was a great driver and fun person to spend a few hours with. He shared several interesting spots on our drive to Biarritz. Our group was expecting a bit more history of the area and more experiences than just viewing the scenery.

We had a lovely day with Alex in Basque country. We didn't want to drive or have to navigate and I'm sure we never would have found some of the spots he took us for great views on our own. It was more a tour of him taking us to see the sights than a history tour, which is what we were expecting. Bring your camera for the many great photo ops!
